Pair of UC Players Earn Weekly AAC Honors
CINCINNATI — UC had a pair of players get AAC recognition after the 38-17 win over Miami (OH) on Saturday.
QB Ben Bryant made the AAC Honor Roll, while punter Mason Fletcher is the AAC Special Teams Player of the Week.
Bryant was fantastic on Saturday, throwing for 337 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception on 26-of-35 passing. His 863 passing yards rank 25th nationally, and he's posted the most passing yards by a Bearcat this early in the season since 2014.
Fletcher has been just as impressive after getting named to the Ray Guy Award Watchlist. He's leading the conference in yards per punt and is top-ten nationally in that figure on just 3.7 boots per game.
