ESPN's Todd McShay Adds Four Bearcats to 2023 NFL Draft Rankings

Cincinnati could get multiple players drafted once again in 2023.

CINCINNATI — The Bearcats lost nine players to the NFL Draft this past April, but they still have plenty of NFL-caliber players taking the field in 2022.

ESPN's Todd McShay released his preseason player rankings for the 2023 NFL Draft, and four Bearcats made the list.

Ben Bryant (No. 20 QB, 30 overall grade) starts us off in the top-24 QB rankings. The veteran passer can really boost his stock this season after playing in America's least-talented conference, the MAC, in 2021. If Ben Bryant thrives in the AAC he could very well hear his name called throughout the seven-round exercise.

Next, came the one-two punch at tight end in Josh Whyle (No. 6 TE, 77 overall grade) and Leonard Taylor (No. 17 TE, 40 overall grade). Another season of around 350-400 receiving yards and six touchdowns will nearly make Whyle a lock to get drafted. The senior has maintained his weight during fall camp better than he has in recent years and could be the best weapon on the team.

Taylor has the build to play Y in the NFL and will have plenty of chances to wow scouts this season.

We round out the rankings with Arquon Bush (No. 14 CB, 70 overall grade). Bush is the senior leader in the cornerback room and can show the much-needed versatility NFL teams want at the next level. We already know he can be a sound slot corner, now we'll get to see him moved around all over the field.
