Report: Deion Sanders 'Wanting To Make a Big Move'
CINCINNATI — The college coaching carousel is turning and Deion Sanders is hoping to land one of the top jobs.
The NFL legend has his eyes on a Power Five job. Colorado has already offered him their head coaching job, but he hasn't accepted it—yet.
"Everything I've heard is Deion is really wanting to make a big move," Bruce Feldman said on the Ryen Russilo podcast. "This is a Power Five move [Colorado] and I'm sure he thinks 'I can get it cranked up there because look what I did here, they weren't winning until I got here.'"
Plenty of people in Cincinnati are hoping the Bearcats make a run at Sanders. If he's wanting to make a move like Feldman says, landing in the Queen City would make a lot of sense, especially if Colorado is the only other Power Five school expressing interest in Sanders.
"They [Colorado] are so far down talent wise," Feldman said. "Portal or not, this is not gonna be that quick of a fix."
The Bearcats are far more established, being just one year removed from an appearance in the College Football Playoff. It's unclear if Cincinnati has reached out to Sanders, but it could be a great hire for the program.
