Report: More UC Coaches Joining Luke Fickell At Wisconsin

The Bearcats are fervently searching for a new head coach.

CINCINNATI — More Bearcats coaches are headed to Wisconsin along with Luke Fickell.

According to Justin Williams, Cincinnati defensive coordinator Mike Tressel, safeties coach Colin Hitschler, and wide receivers coach Mike Brown “are expected to follow” Fickell to Madison.

They join recruiting aces Max Stienecher and Pat Lambert on the Fickell train along with director of sports performance Brady Collins.

Williams also hinted offensive coordinator Gino Guidugli could join them if he’s not selected as the next head coach. Multiple offensive players stated they want him as the HC this week.

The Bearcats are in the midst of a national coaching search to replace the winningest coach in program history.
