Report: Multiple UC Starters Returning From Injury Against SMU

The Bearcats get some offensive firepower back in the fold.

CINCINNATI — We have a few injury updates on key UC football players ahead of the SMU matchup.

According to Pete Thamel, starting QB Ben Bryant is expected to play after missing the final frame against USF with a concussion. WR Will Pauling and RB Corey Kiner are also making a return to the field on Saturday.

Pauling started the Arkansas contest and had six catches across the first two games for the Bearcats.

UC's leading receiver, Tyler Scott, is a game-time decision with an ankle injury. The burner has 500 receiving yards and six touchdowns this season.

UPDATE: Scott walked out in a walking boot and looks like a definite scratch from the lineup.

The game kicks off at noon ET on ESPN. Watch on fuboTV—start your free trial here.
