UC Makes Top-Eight Schools For Four-Star 2025 Running Back Tiqwai Hayes

Cincinnati is employing a running back heavy system under Scott Satterfield.

CINCINNATI — UC cracked the top-eight schools for four-star 2025 running back Tiquai Hayes out of Aliquippa (Pennsylvania).

Pittsburgh, Penn State, Michigan, Ohio State, West Virginia, Michigan State, and Maryland are also involved.

According to 247Sports, Hayes is the 340th-ranked player nationally and the 33rd-best running back in the class.

He held 13 offers before cutting the list down.

It's not hard to see why UC is interested in the 5-foot-10, 185-pound talent. Hayes has familiarity with the wide-zone run scheme and a great burst off the edge during those plays.

The downhill runner brings pain on truck sticks and when with power more than finess on the clips I checked out. Hayes has a great knack for sticking his left foot in the turf and exploding upfield. The passing game chops are a bit of a mystery, as I didn't see many plays of him running routes or pass blocking.
