Watch: UC Defensive Lineman Jabari Taylor Nails 40-yard FG at Spring Practice

Cincinnati may have been able to use those skills on its run to the College Football Playoff.

CINCINNATI — The Bearcats football team closed out spring practice in style this week by throwing one of the big fellas a bone. Defensive lineman Jabari Taylor got his wish and showed the team his field-goal skills by nailing a 40-yard attempt.

Taylor was a standout player at Cincinnati's Spring Game and will play a big role on this defensive line during his final year of college eligibility. Despite Cincinnati being one of the worst FG kicking teams in the country last season, Taylor likely won't be called upon in live-action. Delaware transfer kicker Ryan Coe has nailed from as deep as 55-yard during the spring window.

Coe allows Fickell to breathe a sigh of relief and have a little more fun with the forgotten phase of the game.
