Desmond Ridder, Other Bearcats Dine With Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin Ahead of Pro Day
CINCINNATI — The Bearcats' Pro Day is Thursday afternoon, which means coaches and scouts from across the NFL will be in Clifton to watch Desmond Ridder, Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner and the rest of the top NFL Draft eligible prospects workout.
Bryan Cook, Myjai Sanders, Coby Bryant and Ridder had dinner with Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin on Wednesday night at Jeff Ruby's steakhouse.
All four players could be potential draft targets for the Steelers. Ridder would be the most intriguing of the bunch.
The Bearcats' star quarterback could still be available when Pittsburgh is making the No. 20 pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. They need a quarterback to replace Ben Roethlisberger and Ridder has easily won the most games out of any quarterback in this draft class.
