Bearcats Adding Antwan Peek Jr. as Preferred Walk-On

CINCINNATI — The Bearcats added a preferred walk-on with quite the legacy this week. Indian Hill (Oh.) 2022 athlete Antwan Peek Jr. is joining the program this fall.

Peek is not ranked on any service but stood out at running back and cornerback for the Hawks last season. Peek finished 2021 with 952 rushing yards—and 15 touchdowns—to go with 307 receiving yards through the air and another four touchdowns. On the defensive end, Peek stood out as well, finishing the season with 57 tackles, one sack, one forced fumble, and one interception.

His father, Antwan Sr., played outside linebacker at UC from 2000-03 and set the program record for sacks in a game (4 vs. Louisiana-Monroe), season (12.5), and career (21). He played three seasons in the NFL with Houston and one season with the Cleveland Browns for 2003-07.
