In this story:
CINCINNATI — UC football made the top-10 schools for 2024 four-star athlete Brauntae Johnson out of North Side (Indiana). The school's been recruiting him across a staff change since Dec. 2021 as his fourth FBS offer at the time.
The other schools include Colorado, Notre Dame, Louisville, Missouri, Penn State, Miami (FL), Penn State, Michigan State, and Tennessee.

According to 247Sports, Johnson is the 151st-ranked prospect nationally and the 11th-best athlete. ESPN has him ranked 274th overall and 31st among athletes.
247Sports has a crystal ball projection for him to pick Notre Dame.
Johnson is a versatile long weapon at 6-foot-3, 170 pounds. He can play safety well but will be much more valuable as a receiver. The junior has advanced intermediate and deep route running ability for a high schooler.
He stands out with highpoint catches and a strong feel for soft coverage areas when plays break down. Oh, and he can take the ball out of the backfield with ease. End-arounds looked like easy first downs for him, and he showed some Wildcat ability in the red zone.
