Four-Star 2024 Tight End Kylan Fox Places UC Among Top 15 Schools

The Bearcats are leveling up their recruiting targets.

CINCINNATI — UC made the top 15 schools for four-star 2024 tight end Kylan Fox this past weekend.

According to 247Sports Composite, Fox is the 194th-ranked player nationally and the 24th-rated athlete. ESPN has him ranked 250th and 28th among athletes. Cincinnati originally offered him on Aug. 2nd and hosted him on a visit in December.

At 6-foot-5, 215 pounds, Fox has all the physical makings of a great UC tight end. He is a mauling defensive end on the other side of the ball and brings that mentality to his in-line blocking ability.

The nasty edge/block-through-the-whistle traits are evident in his film, and he is a man amongst boys in the receiving game. It remains to be seen how dynamic he can be running a diverse set of routes, but college coaching should hammer that out.

Fox's recruitment is still pretty wide open. On3 has Georgia (17.4%), Georgia Tech (11.5%), and NC State (9.9%) all in the mix. Cincinnati is not listed with a percentage.
