Recruiting Roundup: UC Offers Four-Star 2025 Defensive Lineman Julian Marks, 2027 Shooting Guard Shawn Foster

CINCINNATI — Football season is nearly here for the UC Bearcats, while basketball season isn't far behind. Let's take a look at the latest recruiting news starting with an offer to three-star 2025 defensive tackle Joseph Reiff out of York (Illinois).

According to 247Sports, Reiff is the 38th-best defensive lineman in the country and the 10th-best player in Illinois.

Cincinnati is the 6-foot-5, 230-pound force's sixth offer, joining schools like Iowa and Northwestern.

Moving on to an offer to four-star 2025 defensive lineman Julian Marks out of St. Thomas Aquinas (Kansas).

According to On3, Marks is the 16th-best defensive lineman nationally and the second-best player in Kansas.

The 6-foot-7, 255-pound talent holds 24 offers from schools like Auburn and Iowa.

Next is an offer to 2025 three-star defensive lineman Jarquez Carter out of Newberry (Florida).

According to 247Sports, Carter is the 45th-ranked defensive lineman nationally and the 60th-best player in Florida.

The 6-foot-2, 284-pound attacker holds 14 offers from schools like Florida State and Florida.

The football news closes with an offer to 2025 offensive lineman Kenneth McManus.

McManus is not ranked on a major service and holds eight offers from schools like Maryland and Boston College.
