Top Bearcats 2023 Target Isaiah Collier Named Top Prospect by 247Sports

The point guard is one of the best passers in the nation.

CINCINNATI — Being early is often crucial to landing the best recruits in the country and that should play in UC's favor when it comes to 247Sports' new top-ranked basketball player. Isaiah Collier is now the site's top overall prospect in the Class of 2023.

The point guard and primary Bearcats target has been on Wes Miller's radar since he arrived as head coach in Clifton and its kept UC in the mix for a player that could be the best in the country when the dust settles on this class.

At 6-foot-3, 180 pounds, Collier is viewed as the best pure passer in the country. He has lit up nearly every opponent his Skill Factory AAU squad faced this summer and still has UC in a top-four with UCLA, Michigan, and USC.

According to On3, UC is the favorite to land Collier at 29.8%. He would be the third five-star recruit to sign with UC in the 247Sports era.

Collier isn't lacking in love from the other major recruiting services either: Rivals (No. 4), On3 (No. 2), and ESPN (No. 14).
