CINCINNATI — UC football cracked the final eight schools for 2024 three-star athlete Jordan Ward out of Fairley (Tennessee).

Memphis, Kentucky, Louisville, Purdue, Oregon, Ole Miss, and Michigan are also involved.

According to 247Sports, Ward is the 1,021st-ranked recruit nationally and the 108th-best athlete. He held 19 offers before cutting down his list.

The 6-foot-4, 205-pound talent had 21 catches for 660 yards and 8 touchdowns as a wide receiver last season.

Ward is a classic jump-ball outside receiver that can go up and highpoint plenty of plays. He has great straight-line speed and a nice foundation for open-field moves when he gets the football. He lined up as a lone receiver multiple times and outworked the coverage for big plays.

He can play as a defensive back as well but tracks as a more impactful receiver with that 6-foot-4 build.
