UC Five-Star Target Isaiah Collier Announces Commitment Date

The playmaker has turned into a top-five player nationally over the past year.

CINCINNATI — UC's top target in the 2023 class announced his commitment date. Wheeler (Georgia) five-star point guard Isaiah Collier is committing on Nov. 16.

At 6-foot-4, 205 pounds, Collier is widely viewed as the best pure passer in the country. He is the top player on 247Sports' rankings and lit up nearly every opponent his Skill Factory AAU squad faced this past summer. He still has UC in his top four with UCLA, Michigan, and USC.

According to On3, UC was the favorite to land Collier at 29.8% a few weeks ago, but it's flipped towards the Trojans recently. USC (88.1%) is now heavily favored to sign Collier, with UC holding the second-best odds (4%). Yet, Collier also tweeted he still doesn't know where he's signing.

The other three major recruiting services besides 247Sports aren't necessarily down on the talent: Rivals (No. 4), On3 (No. 2), and ESPN (No. 6).
