Two-Star 2026 OL Evan Downer Talks Cincinnati Bearcats Visit

TUNNEL HILL — Evan Downer is one of many recruits who has visited with the Cincinnati Bearcats recently.

Downer is a 2026 two-star offensive guard according to Rivals. He holds a 6-foot-4 230-pound frame from Palatine High School. He has visited UC multiple times but with this team, he caught up with Bearcats Talk to detail his visit.

“I’d say it’s the history overall and the success of the program I’ve seen the past few years makes it (Cincinnati Bearcats) special overall,” Downer stated.

“I normally speak with Coach Cass and Coach Cardwell and recently met with Coach Price on my visit and those conversations are focused on the best dates for me to be back at the campus and any questions I have regarding the program. It was great I got to see the practice routine and got a tour of the current facility and met with Coach Satterfield as well.”

He talked about what stood out the most from his visit considering he got to see the Bearcats in action during spring practice.

“The offensive line and how much they have improved since I watched them during my gameday visit. A great thing to see. Cincinnati is a school I will be considering these next few years of high school!”
