Rivals' Rob Cassidy Shares Thoughts on Boogie Fland Recruitment

In this story:
A highly-anticipated recruitment comes to an end Friday at 2 p.m. ET, when Boogie Fland announces his college decision.
The five-star guard narrowed his list to three schools: Indiana, Kentucky and Alabama, thought lately it appears that list has shrunk even further.
On Thursday, Rob Cassidy, the national basketball analyst for the recruiting site Rivals, shared his thoughts on Fland's recruitment, giving a slight edge toward one school.
"Technically it's Indiana, it's Alabama, it's Kentucky. Alabama's not really part of this, right? So throw that out the window," Cassidy said. "So I think what it's kind of been is Indiana versus Kentucky, and it's kind of gone back and forth a little bit."
"As we sit here and we record this right now, I feel like Kentucky has taken the lead from everything that I've heard. I would not bet my house on it. The way things have gone here, I think Indiana is very much still alive and I wouldn't be completely floored if Mike Woodson pulls this off. But as I sit here and talk to you, the vibes feel like Kentucky, but it'll be interesting to see."
"These are the recruitments we like, though. Going into it, you don't know 100 percent. Boogie has played this incredibly close to the vest and for good reason. Everybody will kind of be hanging on his word when he announces there from White Plains, New York, including me."

Indiana recently landed a commitment from five-star small forward Liam McNeeley, who made a recruiting pitch to Indiana's two remaining targets, Fland and five-star center Derik Queen, who's teammates with McNeeley at Montverde Academy.
"My first call would be to the man right here, Derik Queen," McNeeley said. "We need Derik Queen to come be a Hoosier ... Boogie Fland, that call is coming. You know it."
