First Half

20:00 - Kansas wins the jump ball. Tip-off was officially at 7:07 p.m. local time. Let's get underway.

18:54 - Baylor takes its first timeout after Flory Bidunga and Melvin Council Jr. get the scoring started. Great start for the Jayhawks in front of this packed crowd. Kansas leads, 5-0.

17:35 - Peterson already has five points tonight, and both of his buckets came on drives. The Bears are feeling the pressure of Allen Fieldhouse right now. Kansas leads 9-0.

15:13 - KU has not let up yet, holding Baylor to just 2-of-7 shooting from the floor. It holds a nine-point lead going into the first TV timeout. Kansas leads, 13-4.

14:25 - Easily the best start Kansas has gotten off to this season. Peterson is unconscious right now, as he is up to 13 points on 5-for-5 shooting. He looks absolutely unstoppable. Kansas leads, 19-4.

12:12 - Baylor is finally getting into a rhythm offensively, going on an 8-0 run. However, Bidunga stopped the streak with a tough layup under the basket. Kansas leads, 21-12.

9:03 - Peterson has not scored since his strong start, but Bidunga, Jackson, and Tiller have all made their respective contributions. Tiller just rebounded his own miss and put it back up for a two. Kansas leads, 27-19.

7:48 - Peterson has taken matters into his own hands. He now has 18 points and has missed just one of his eight shot attempts. We are truly witnessing one of the most talented players to ever wear the crimson and blue. Kansas leads, 32-22.

6:06 - Tounde Yessoufou is tearing up the Jayhawks' defense. The star freshman is going toe to toe with Peterson and single-handedly brought Baylor back into the game with his 15 points. Kansas leads, 34-29.

2:51 - BU has willed itself all the way back from down 15 points to take the lead late in the first half. KU's offense has struggled mightily at the court, and the duo of Yessoufou and Cameron Carr have combined for 31 of the Bears' 37 points. Baylor leads, 37-36.

1:30 - Jayden Dawson comes off the bench for his first minutes of the night and provides the first spark in what seems like years. A much-needed 3-pointer from the Loyola Chicago transfer to put the Jayhawks back in front. Kansas leads, 39-37.

Halftime - KU ends the half on a 7-0 run. Peterson leads the team with 20 points on 8-for-10 shooting, while Bidunga is also in double figures with 10. Kansas leads, 43-37.
