Rivals released its final rankings before the 2023 season starts, and Notre Dame was well represented, with several commits jumping up the rankings.

Notre Dame has five players in the Top 100 from Rivals and nine total players in the Rivals250. Three of Notre Dame's commits are in the Top 50 of the Rivals rankings.

Saline (Mich.) High School quarterback CJ Carr remains the highest ranked Notre Dame commit, coming in a No. 22 nationally. That's one spot down from his previous ranking.

Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco linebacker Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa is Notre Dame's latest commitment, and the big-time defender rose up the rankings since his pledge to the Irish. Viliamu-Asa rose five spots and is now ranked No. 30 overall by Rivals.

If both Carr and Viliamu-Asa remain in those spots by season's end they'll both be five-stars by Rivals.

Glen Ellyn (Ill.) Glenbard South wide receiver Cam Williams moved up to No. 48, making him the third Top 50 player in the class for the Fighting Irish.

Fort Wayne (Ind.) North Side safety Brauntae Johnson checked in at No. 60 in the national rankings. Malvern (Pa.) Prep offensive lineman Peter Jones also rose up the rankings, checking in as the No. 83 overall player in the country.

Hannibal (Mo.) High School running back Aneyas Williams ranks No. 146 overall and Lufkin (Texas) High School running back Kedren Young ranks No. 217 overall. That gives Notre Dame a pair of backs that rank in the Rivals250.

Cleveland (Ohio) St. Edward defensive end Loghan Thomas ranks No. 188 overall and Round Rock (Texas) High School cornerback Leonard Moore ranks No. 202 in the latest Rivals250 rankings. Rivals is the only recruiting service to grade Moore as a four-star recruit, which means despite the solid Rivals ranking, he remains one of the most underrated players in the class. Irish Breakdown has Moore as a Top 150 caliber prospect.

Carr, Viliamu-Asa, Jones and Williams are all Top 5 national players at their position and Williams is ranked as a Top 10 wide receiver and Thomas is ranked as a Top 10 weakside end.

Notre Dame is also the leader for West Roxbury (Mass.) Catholic Memorial offensive tackle Guerby Lambert. The 6-7, 280-pound offensive tackle ranks No. 63 overall and he's the No. 4 offensive tackle in the country by Rivals.

Notre Dame is tied with Florida State with the fourth most Top 100 players in the Rivals rankings, trailing Georgia, Ohio State and Florida.
