Notre Dame Commits Set For Week Six Action

A long list of Notre Dame recruits are set to get back to action on Friday, including some very important matchups for their respective seasons. Here is every game, including when and how to watch.

It promises to be yet another busy weekend of big time football. The future of the Irish program will provide must watch moments.

QB CJ CARR, SALINE (Mich.) HIGH SCHOOL

Matchup: Saline (5-0) vs Huron (3-2) (Saline, Mich.)

Game Time: Friday (9/29) at 7 PM ET

Carr was tremendous during Saline’s 42-35 victory over Monroe last Friday. The senior completed 25 of 28 passes for 374 yards and three touchdowns through the air. Carr also rushed for another two touchdowns in the victory.

He will now welcome a solid Huron (3-2) to town on Friday.

QB DEUCE KNIGHT, LUCEDALE (Miss.) GEORGE COUNTY

Matchup: George County (4-1) vs Hattiesburg (3-2) (Lucedale, Miss.)

After a brief stop at Lipscomb Academy this season, Knight transferred back home to George County. He makes his return under center for the 4-1 squad against Hattiesburg (3-2). Knight is expected to pick up where he left off as a sophomore, providing a bit boost as a dual threat signal caller.

RB ANEYAS WILLIAMS, HANNIBAL (Mo.) HIGH SCHOOL

Matchup: Hannibal (4-1) vs Kirksville (2-3) (Hannibal, Mo.)

Hannibal was leading 55-0 at halftime last week. Williams’ talents were on full display during the victory. He ended the night with five total touchdowns, including two rushing, two receiving and an interception return.

They will now welcome Kirksville (2-3) to town on Friday night.

RB JUSTIN THURMAN (2025), TAMPA BAY (Fla.) JESUIT

Matchup: Jesuit (2-2) at Leto (2-3) (Tampa Bay, Fla.)

It has been a trifle so far this season for Thurman. The Florida speedster has run for just 106 yards and a touchdown on 46 carries. Thurman needs a big game desperately on Friday.

WR CAM WILLIAMS, GLEN ELLYN (Ill.) GLENBARD SOUTH

Matchup: Glenbard South (5-0) at South Elgin (5-0) (South Elgin, Ill.)

Cam Williams continues to make big plays each and every week. In limited opportunities last Friday, Williams hauled in four receptions for 170 yards and three touchdowns. If you don’t already have him as a five star, you need to change that immediately.

WR LOGAN SALDATE, SALINAS (Calif.) PALMA

Matchup: Palma (3-2) at Hollister (1-3) (Hollister, Calif.)

Despite coming out with the loss last Friday, Saldate provided all of the scoring on the day for Palma, scoring two touchdowns. That included three receptions for 27 yards through the air and three carries for 13 yards.

On Friday, they will be challenged by a struggling Hollister (1-3) squad.

WR MICAH GILBERT, CHARLOTTE (N.C.) CHRISTIAN

Matchup: Charlotte Christian (4-1) vs Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (6-0) (Charlotte, N.C.)

Explosive plays were not needed from Gilbert during Charlotte Christian’s 38-3 victory over Cabarrus last Friday. The talented pass catcher did still haul in seven receptions for 70 yards on the day.

Gilbert looks to continue his stellar senior campaign this week.

TE JACK LARSEN, CHARLOTTE (N.C.) CATHOLIC

Matchup: Charlotte Catholic (4-2) at Rocky River (2-3) (Mint Hill, N.C.)

Unfortunately Charlotte Catholic suffered their second defeat of the season, falling to Independence 31-0 this past week. Larsen did, however, make his impact felt. He finished the day with eight receptions for 125 yards through the air.

Bus impact should be expected against Rocky River (2-3) on Friday.

OT STYLES PRESCOD, FISHERS (Ind.) HAMILTON SOUTHEASTERN

Matchup: Hamilton Southeastern (5-1) vs Noblesville (3-3) (Fishers, Ind.)

Hamilton Southeastern got back to their winning ways last Friday, defeating Zionsville 34-24 to move to 5-1. On Friday they will take on Noblesville (3-3) at home. The team will continue to depend on Prescod behind his massive senior season.

OL ANTHONIE KNAPP, ROSWELL (Ga.) HIGH SCHOOL

Matchup: Roswell (4-1) at Blessed Trinity (4-1) (Roswell, Ga.)

This past Saturday Roswell dominated Johns Creek 56-0 to get back to their winning ways. Led by their senior offensive tackle, they head into a massive matchup on the road against Blessed Trinity (4-1).

OL PETER JONES, MALVERN (Pa.) PREP

Matchup: Malvern Prep (3-1) vs The Hun School (3-0) (Malvern, Pa.)

Malvern Prep won a thriller over Rock Creek Christian last Friday. A last second field goal propelled them to a 17-16 victory as time expired. Jones and his talented squad will travel to take on The Hun School (3-0) on Friday.

DE BRYCE YOUNG, CHARLOTTE (N.C.) CHRISTIAN

Matchup: Charlotte Christian (4-1) vs Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (6-0) (Charlotte, N.C.)

Young turned in another really good performance during Charlotte Christian’s 38-3 victory over Cabarrus last Friday. On the day, the senior recorded five total tackles, a tackle for loss, a sack and four quarterback hurries. Young continues to have a very strong senior campaign.

DE LOGHAN THOMAS, LAKEWOOD (Ohio) ST. EDWARD

Matchup: St. Edward (5-1) vs St. Ignatius (1-5) (Lakewood, Ohio)

The St. Edward defense dominated River Rouge last Friday, allowing just 160 total yards of offense. Thomas blocked a punt during this contest. He also recorded eight tackles from his defensive end position.

On Saturday, they will welcome St. Ignatius to town (1-5).

DE JOSEPH REIFF, ELMHURST (Ill.) YORK

Matchup: York (5-0) at Downers Grove North (5-0) (Downers Grove, Ill.)

Reiff is having a very strong junior season so far. He has been all over the field on defense, while also starting at offensive tackle for the Dukes. This will be Notre Dame fans first introduction to Reiff as an Irish commit.

DT SEAN SEVILLANO, CLEARWATER ACADEMY INTERNATIONAL

Matchup: Clearwater Academy (0-4 ) at Brentwood Academy (1-5) (Miami. Fla.)

Sevillano has gotten off to a tremendous start so far this season. Despite the team struggles, the senior defensive lineman has recorded 23 tackles for loss and six sacks in just four games. He will hope to make his presence felt against Brentwood Academy (1-5) this week.

DT DAVION DIXON (2025), MIAMI (Fla.) PALMETTO

Matchup: Palmetto (3-1) at Coral Gables (3-1) (Coral Gables, Fla.)

Columbus got off to a fast start during their battle with Palmetto, scoring 15 points in the first half. It was a defensive game from there, seeing no scoring in the second half. On Friday, they will travel to Coral Gables (3-1) fresh off of a bye week.

LB KYNGSTONN VILIAMU-ASA, BELLFLOWER (Calif.) ST. JOHN BOSCO

Matchup: St. John Bosco (4-1) at Santa Margarita (4-1) (Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.)

The St. John Bosco's win streak was snapped two Saturdays ago, falling to Kahuku 30-23. The Braves had cut the lead in the fourth quarter to 23-22 before the home team put the nail in the coffin late in the fourth quarter. St. John Bosco is coming off of their bye week and will now travel to Santa Margarita (4-1) on Friday.

LB BODIE KAHOUN, ROANOKE (Va.) PATRICK HENRY

Matchup: Patrick Henry (4-1) vs Pulaski County (1-3) (Roanoke, Va.)

Despite the 24-7 loss to Salem last Friday, Kahoun continued his massive senior campaign. During this game, he collected 17 total tackles (9 solo, 8 assists) and three tackles for loss. Patrick Henry held a very talented Salem offense to 146 total yards of offense on the day. It was the Patrick Henry offense that contributed to the lopsided scoreboard, throwing two pick sixes during the contest.

Led by the salty defense, Patrick Henry hopes to get back to their winning ways against Pulaski County.

LB TEDDY REZAC, OMAHA (Neb.) WESTSIDE

Matchup: Westside (5-0) vs North Platte (1-4) (Omaha, Neb.)

Another week, another dominant performance by Westside last Friday. During the recent 41-0 victory over Norfolk, Rezac made plays on both sides of the ball. On defense, he collected three tackles and offensively he hauled in three receptions for 66 yards and a touchdown. That includes a 42 yard gain for a score.

Rezac’s impact will most likely not last more than a half when they take on North Platte (1-4).

CB KARSON HOBBS, CINCINNATI (Ohio) ARCHBISHOP MOELLER

Matchup: Archbishop Moeller (3-3) at Elder (4-2) (Cincinnati, Ohio)

Hobbs was rarely tested against LaSalle last Friday. During that contest, he was targeted five times and gave up zero receptions. After an early struggle to start the season, Archbishop Moeller is playing much better football over the last couple of games.

CB LEONARD MOORE, ROUND ROCK (Texas) HIGH SCHOOL

Matchup: Round Rock (1-3) vs Stony Point (2-2) (Round Rock, Texas)

Round Rock defeated Westwood 24-21 a couple of weeks ago, and our set to get back to action after a bye week. On offense, Moore hauled in three receptions for 24 yards during that contest. He also returned his lone kickoff for 29 yards.

Moore and his squad hope to continue their winning streak on Friday night.

S TAEBRON BENNIE-POWELL, WEST CHESTER (Ohio) LAKOTA WEST

Matchup: Lakota West (4-2) vs Oak Hills (2-4) (West Chester, Ohio)

Bennie-Powell hauled in an interception during Lakota West’s dominant 34-14 victory over Sycamore last week. So far the senior has been putting together a tremendous final campaign. He looks like the Irish may have gotten a steal.

On Friday, he hopes to continue his brilliant play against Oak Hills (2-4) at home.

S KENNEDY URLACHER, CHANDLER (Ariz.) HIGH SCHOOL

Matchup: Chandler (5-0) vs Casteel (4-1) (Chandler, Ariz.)

Urlacher had a really nice outing during the team’s 24-22 victory over Highland last Friday. The talented safety finished with seven total tackles, half a tackle for loss and a pass breakup. He has made disruptive plays in the passing game two straight weeks now.

Chandler will need more of that impact from Urlacher when they travel to Casteel (4-1) on Friday.

S BRAUNTAE JOHNSON, FORT WAYNE (Ind.) NORTH SIDE

Matchup: North Side (2-4) at South Side (1-5) (Fort Wayne, Ind.)

Bishop Luers completely shut down the passing game of Johnson last Friday, completing just 3 of 4 passes for -4 yards on the day. Johnson was able to make his impact felt on the ground in the narrow loss, rushing for 130 yards and two touchdowns on just 12 carries.

North Side (2-4) looks to get on track against a less than stellar South Side (1-5) team.
