Notre Dame Commits Set For Week Ten Action

Notre Dame is set to return to action this weekend against the Pitt Panthers. The future of the Irish program will also be in action starting on Friday night with some stellar high school action.

Here is every Notre Dame commit who will be in action this week. That includes when they play, the opponent and how to watch.

QB CJ CARR, SALINE (Mich.) HIGH SCHOOL

Matchup: Saline (8-1) vs Pioneer (6-3) (Saline, Mich.)

Game Time: Friday (10/27) at 7 PM ET

Saline suffered their first loss last Friday, losing 35-28 to Lake Orion. Carr put together a solid performance in the defeat, throwing for 265 yards and a touchdown on the night. He had a slow second half, throwing for 228 in the opening half.

They look to get back into the win column against a talented Pioneer (6-3) squad this week.

QB DEUCE KNIGHT (2025), LUCEDALE (Miss.) GEORGE COUNTY

Matchup: George County (7-2) vs Picayune (6-2) (Lucedale, Miss.)

Knight scored five total touchdowns during the team’s dominant 54-19 victory over West Harrison last Friday. The Mississippi native has been playing high level football over the last three weeks, showcasing that big time dual threat talent. They will need the best of Knight on Friday when they welcome Picayune (6-2) to town.

RB ANEYAS WILLIAMS, HANNIBAL (Mo.) HIGH SCHOOL

Matchup: Hannibal (8-1) vs St. Charles (1-8) (Hannibal, Mo.)

Williams added to his illustrious career last Friday, scoring two more touchdowns during the team’s 42-7 victory. He now has 129 total touchdowns during his career.

Hannibal will probably not need Williams for long when they take on St. Charles (1-8) on Friday.

RB KEDREN YOUNG, LUFKIN (Texas) HIGH SCHOOL

Matchup: Lufkin (4-4) vs West Mesquite (3-5) (Lufkin, Texas)

It was a tough 23-20 loss for Lufkin last Friday, who was led again by Young in the backfield. The senior rushed for 138 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries during the contest. Young is now just 24 yards away from being the Lufkin all time leading rusher.

RB JUSTIN THURMAN (2025), TAMPA BAY (Fla.) JESUIT

Matchup: Jesuit (6-2) vs Hillsborough (6-2) (Tampa Bay, Fla.)

Jesuit handed Tampa Bay Tech their first loss of the season last Friday, winning 35-28. For the second straight game, Thurman has scored three touchdowns. He has now scored nine touchdowns in the last four games after a slow start to the season. Look for him to continue that momentum against Hillsborough (6-2) Friday night.

RB DANIEL ANDERSON (2025), BRYANT (Ark.) HIGH SCHOOL

Matchup: Bryant (7-1) vs North Little Rock (3-5) (Bryant, Ark.)

Anderson has been limited the last few weeks while working back from a foot injury. He is expected to make his return against North Little Rock (3-5) on Friday.

WR CAM WILLIAMS, GLEN ELLYN (Ill.) GLENBARD SOUTH

Matchup: Glenbard South (8-1) vs UIC College Prep (8-2) (Glen Ellyn, Ill.)

Glenbard South got back to their winning ways this past week, defeating Elgin 47-14. Williams has been tremendous as a senior. Expect him to once again be dominant against UIC College Prep (8-2) on Friday.

WR MICAH GILBERT, CHARLOTTE (N.C.) CHRISTIAN

Matchup: Charlotte Christian (6-3) at Charlotte Country Day School (4-5) (Charlotte, N.C.)

Gilbert continued his incredibly impressive senior year last Friday. He hauled in four receptions for 104 yards and a touchdown. That included an 81 yard gain for his lone score. On the season, Gilbert has recorded 66 receptions for 912 yards and seven touchdowns. He has also recorded 23 total tackles and two interceptions on defense.

WR LOGAN SALDATE, SALINAS (Calif.) PALMA

Matchup: Palma (5-3) vs Salinas (5-3) (Salinas, Calif.)

Saldate had the attention of Soquel last Friday. He was the player they most wanted to stop. They were able to limit Saldate to just 48 yards on six receptions during the game.

They will take on cross town rival Salinas (5-3) on Friday.

TE JAMES FLANIGAN (2025), GREEN BAY (Wisc.) NOTRE DAME ACADEMY

Matchup: Notre Dame Academy (9-1) vs Fox Valley Lutheran (7-3) (Green Bay, Wisc.)

The newest member of the Notre Dame 2025 class, Flanigan’s two-way impact will be needed when they welcome Fox Valley Lutheran (7-3) to town on Friday. Whether as a tight end or linebacker, expect No. 88 to make a ton of plays.

OT GUERBY LAMBERT, WEST ROXBURY (Mass.) CATHOLIC MEMORIAL

Matchup: Catholic Memorial (3-2) vs Malden Catholic (2-5) (West Roxbury, Mass.)

Catholic Memorial came out on the wrong end of the scoreboard last week, losing to St. John’s Prep 19-8. That was the second loss of the season for the Knights, who will look to get back on track this Friday against Malden Catholic (2-5) at home.

Matchup: Hamilton Southeastern (7-2) at Fort Wayne Northrop (1-8) (Fort Wayne, Ind.)

Hamilton Southeastern is coming off of a bye week. They will travel to take on Fort Wayne Northrop (1-8) Friday night. Look for the Royals to continue momentum heading toward the playoffs.

Matchup: Malvern Prep (6-1) at William Penn Charter (3-3) (Philadelphia, Pa.)

Jones and his talented Malvern Prep squad continued their winning ways, pushing their record to 6-1 after a decisive 24-6 victory over Haverford School last week. On Friday, they will travel to take on William Penn Charter (3-4).

It was a little bit of a quiet night for Young last Friday, whose impact wasn’t needed much during the 43-0 dominant victory over Charlotte Latin. Young recorded two total tackles and two quarterback hurries on the night. He also hauled in one reception for five yards while playing tight end. His impact will be needed more this Friday against Charlotte Country Day School (4-5).

DE LOGHAN THOMAS, LAKEWOOD (Ohio) ST. EDWARD

Matchup: St. Edward (9-1) vs Elyria (1-9) (Lakewood, Ohio)

After surrendering a first quarter touchdown, the St. Edward's defense stood tall and kept Archbishop Hoban scoreless the rest of the night this past week. Marcus Freeman and Al Washington were in attendance to see Thomas ball out. Thomas ended the night with 12 total tackles and three tackles for loss.

May was dominant in the opportunities he had. During Highland Home’s 41-0 victory last Friday, the talented pass rusher ended the day with one solo tackle and a sack. He also had another three quarterback hurries on the day.

They head into a massive matchup against a talented Reeltown (8-0) team.

DT SEAN SEVILLANO, CLEARWATER ACADEMY INTERNATIONAL

Matchup: Clearwater Academy (4-4) vs University Christian (5-3) (Clearwater, Fla.)

Sevillano was once again a playmaker for Clearwater Academy during the team’s 35-34 win over Lakeland last Friday. The senior standout recorded 10 total tackles, six tackles for loss and two sacks. On the season, Sevillano has recorded 49 tackles for loss and 11 sacks.

LB KYNGSTONN VILIAMU-ASA, BELLFLOWER (Calif.) ST. JOHN BOSCO

Matchup: St. John Bosco (8-1) at Orange Lutheran (5-4) (Orange, Calif.)

St. John Bosco ruined JSerra’s senior day, coming out with a 42-20 victory last Friday. The defense gave up just 103 total yards on the night, led by Viliamu-Asa.

The team will now travel to Orange Lutheran (5-4) on Friday.

LB BODIE KAHOUN, ROANOKE (Va.) PATRICK HENRY

Matchup: Patrick Henry (7-1) vs Blacksburg (2-6) (Roanoke, Va.)

It was a comeback victory for Patrick Henry last Friday, who was down 23-21 late in the second half. Patrick Henry now sits at 7-1 on the season, boasting high expectations once playoff season comes around.

In eight games so far, Kahoun has recorded 147 total tackles.

LB TEDDY REZAC, OMAHA (Neb.) WESTSIDE

Matchup: Westside (9-0) vs Creighton Prep (4-5) (Omaha, Neb.)

Westside enters their final regular season game, taking on Creighton Prep (4-5) on Friday night. Rezac has been an instrumental member of the undefeated Westside squad. He has recorded 33 total tackles, three tackles for loss, two interceptions and five pass breakups.

CB KARSON HOBBS, CINCINNATI (Ohio) ARCHBISHOP MOELLER

Matchup: Archbishop Moeller (6-4) vs West Clermont (5-6) (Cincinnati, Ohio)

Archbishop Moeller traveled to take on King last Friday, who is typically a very strong team in Detroit, Michigan. This was the fourth time this season that the Crusaders have kept an opponent to single digit points.

On Friday, they will welcome West Clermont (5-6) to their home field.

CB LEONARD MOORE, ROUND ROCK (Texas) HIGH SCHOOL

Matchup: Round Rock (3-5) at Cedar Ridge (2-6) (Round Rock, Texas)

Moore has been limited to five games as a senior. When he’s played, he has made plays in every facet of the game. His biggest impact comes on defense, where he is a lockdown cornerback for Round Rock. On the season Moore has recorded 21 total tackles, one interception and two more pass breakups in limited targets.

S TAEBRON BENNIE-POWELL, WEST CHESTER (Ohio) LAKOTA WEST

Matchup: Lakota West (8-2) vs Western Hills (4-6) (West Chester, Ohio)

Lakota West stayed hot last Friday, defeating Hamilton 42-14. That was their eight straight victory after starting the year 0-2. The defense has been the main catalyst for the Firebird success, allowing just 7.7 points per contest this season.

Matchup: Chandler (6-2) at Perry (7-1) (Gilbert, Ariz.)
