In this story:

The class of 2027 is more than underway, and the Oregon Ducks are looking to finish inside the top-10 yet again, to keep their streak of three alive. The Ducks have many names on their recruiting board, but there are a few prospects who seem to be "must-land."

These are the recruits that the Ducks can't let slip away.

Dakota Guerrant - Wide Receiver

Five-star wide receiver recruit Dakota Guerrant from the class of 2027 is a must-land prospect for the Ducks. He's a player the Ducks don't want to miss out on because he seems to be the main target for the Ducks at the wide receiver position. He is by far one of the better players in the class at the position. The Ducks previously had a high four-star commit at the wide receiver position.

The former commit is wide receiver recruit Kesean Bowman from the state of Tennessee. Bowman is uber-talented, but ever since he de-committed, the Ducks have had a new top target on the board. Guerrant has been heavily recruited by the Ducks, who will not go down without a fight for the Michigan high school standout.

The Ducks currently have zero committed players at the wide receiver position in the class of 2027. A commitment from Guerrant would keep the narrative around the Ducks being able to land the top wide receivers in the nation, as they are fresh off a class that did just that with a player like Jalen Lott. Guerrant is fresh off a season where he caught 55 passes for 1,074 yards and 26 touchdowns, according to 247Sports, which makes him one of the more productive wide receivers in the nation.

Hayden Stepp - Cornerback

Five-star cornerback recruit Hayden Stepp from the class of 2027 is one of the more dynamic defensive backs in the class. He is one of the more talented players when it comes to using his unique frame, as this frame is very favorable when it comes to the college level. For what it is worth, Stepp has a better frame than a large majority of college defensive backs following his junior year of high school, and could play in a college system with the talent he has now.

Stepp has been a top target for the Ducks, and he is a must-land for the Ducks due to his outstanding ability to shut down a side of the field by himself. He remains one of the better island cornerbacks, which means he is someone who can be left unattended by help over the top from a safety.

Stepp would have the chance to see the field immediately, as he has been very good in his years playing high school football. He finished last season with a total of four pass deflections, but in the two years prior, he finished with a total of three interceptions.

Brayden Parks - Defensive Lineman

Four-star defensive lineman recruit Brayden Parks is one of the better players in the class of 2027 and is one of the players who has the chance to be the biggest impact on the defensive line. He has many top schools knocking at his door, but right there with them are the Ducks. The schools that seem to be in contention include the Ducks, Georgia Bulldogs, Miami Hurricanes, Michigan Wolverines, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Illinois Fighting Illini and the Tennessee Volunteers.

While all of these schools are in a good spot, the Ducks have made a push that leaves them near the top. He would boost the class tremendously, and is a must-land due to his ability to see the field early. This is thanks to his college-ready frame and his violent skillset that will leave many quarterbacks with no chance.

Parks is going to be a top target for many in the long run, as he has yet to announce when he will be committing, but it is safe to say that the Ducks will be in the running.
