In this story:

With the Senior Bowl, Shrine Bowl, Combine and Texas' Pro Day out of the way, Texas Longhorn draft-hopefuls have done all they can to improve their stock ahead of this month's selection.

Texas had 11 players drafted in 2024 and 12 drafted in 2025, both of which were program records.

While the Longhorns will not hit that mark again this year, they still have plenty of draft-worthy prospects. Here is where Pro Football Focus ranked the top nine.

No. 86 - Anthony Hill Jr.

Anthony Hill Jr. is an athletic downhill playmaker who has been the beating heart of the Longhorns' defense for the better part of three years.

He is a natural fit at WILL linebacker, where he can track down ball-carriers and disrupt plays while facing less blocks head-on, which occasionally gave him trouble.

No. 105 - Malik Muhammad

Malik Muhammad is a smooth and sound outside cornerback whose physicality and testing numbers give him upside to play in the slot. He is best in deep-quarter or third coverages, roles he played frequently in former defensive coordinator Pete Kwiatkoski's scheme.

While his thin frame leads to below average play-strength, he is still a pro-ready boundary corner who will be best utilized in zone coverages.

No. 131 - Jack Endries

Jack Endries is a solid F tight end who finds soft spots in zone coverage and boxes out defenders at the catch-point. He lacked an athletic toolkit on tape but put up a Relative Athletic Score of 8.87 at the Combine.

He can contirbute as a 12 and 13 personnel weapon early in his career and has room to blossom into a Dalton Schultz-type.

No. 170 - Michael Taaffe

Michael Taaffe bloomed into an All-American after beginning his career on the 40 Acres as a walk-on. He is a natural leader who consistently made plays on the ball and laid hits above his weight-class.

He has the instincts and speed to play in the deep-half, a role he will likely play full-time in the NFL given his slender 6'0, 189 lb frame.

No. 173 - DJ Campbell

DJ Campbell is an ironman right guard who has mastered the use of his hips on zone runs and has plus-strength in his arms and lower body. His achilles heel is his hand-usage, as he shoots outside of his assignments' frames more often than not.

His collection of tools and dependability on the interior make him immediately valuable as a depth piece. If he is able to correct his hands, he could be a multi-year stalwart on a winning team's line.

No. 182 - Trey Moore

Trey Moore is a career edge rusher whose frame will force him to transition to an off-ball role at the next-level. He has impressive speed and bend and had several productive seasons with both the Longhorns and UTSA Roadrunners.

Moore's best fit will be with a creative defensive playcaller who can hide his deficiencies in coverage and highlight his disruptive capabilities.

No. 204 - Cole Brevard

Cole Brevard is the only player on PFF's list who did not participate in the Senior Bowl, Shrine Bowl or Combine. He is a known-commodity as a stout run-defending nose tackle standing at 6'3, 346 lbs.

He can add to NFL teams as a rotational run-stuffing zero- or one-technique with some pocket-pushing upside.

No. 358 - Jaylon Guilbeau

Jaylon Guilbeau is a hard-nosed defensive back who has the skills of an outside cornerback in the frame of a nickel back. His tweener profile makes him a difficult projection to the NFL, however his physicality and quickness will translate to any role.

He is best fit as a special teams contributor, however he has some upside as a dime back.

No. 404 - Ethan Burke

Ethan Burke is a lengthy, veteran edge rusher whose biggest moments came against rival teams. His size makes him project as a run-defending specialist but he is hurt in that area by his weak base.

He will make the most impact at the next-level as a special-teamer, especially blocking field goals. He can also come in on goal line and short-yardage stands.
