The Bruins earned some extra praise in the polls, all without taking the field.

UCLA football (2-0) came in at No. 13 in the latest edition of the AP Poll on Sunday following all the Week 2 contests across the country. The Bruins jumped from unranked to No. 16 in the previous poll, earning a spot in the top 25 for the first time since 2017.

It's another new benchmark for UCLA this week, as it has been named to back-to-back AP top 25s for the first time since 2015. UCLA also went from No. 16 to No. 13 in the USA Today Coaches Poll.

The Bruins were on a bye week and did not play a game Saturday, and are scheduled to get back in action next Saturday against Fresno State.

The rest of the Pac-12 rose and fell through the rankings as well following Oregon's upset win over Ohio State, USC's loss to Stanford and Utah's loss to BYU in the historic Holy War game.

The Ducks went from No. 12 to No. 4, sending the Buckeyes from No. 3 to No. 9 in the process. The Trojans and Utes fell from No. 14 and No. 21 to out of the rankings, while Arizona State went from No. 23 to No. 19 after blowing out UNLV.

USC and Stanford both received votes. The six points assigned to Arizona were presumably meant for Arizona State, as the Wildcats are 0-2 and just got beaten down at home by San Diego State.

UCLA, Oregon and Arizona State are the only undefeated teams remaining in the Pac-12.
