After beating another ranked team at home, the deja vu continued for the Bruins' star quarterback.

The Pac-12 announced its weekly honors Monday, and No. 11 UCLA football (6-0, 3-0 Pac-12) quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson won the Offensive Player of the Week award following his performance in the win over Utah on Saturday. Linebacker Darius Muasau was nominated for Defensive Player of the Week, while defensive end Laiatu Latu was nominated for Defensive Lineman of the Week and kick returner Kazmeir Allen was nominated for Special Teams Player of the Week, but none of them were able to win.

Thompson-Robinson's latest honor comes just a week after he defeated Utah at the Rose Bowl and winning Week 5 Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week following that contest. No UCLA player has won the award in back-to-back weeks since Johnathan Franklin in 2021

This time around, Thompson-Robinson threw for 299 yards and four touchdowns, going 18-of-23 through the air with a 236.2 passer rating and a rushing touchdown. The fifth-year starter may not have hurdled anyone or forced defenders to crash into each other like he did against the Huskies, but his numbers were just as gaudy and the team result was the same.

Thompson-Robinson also surged past Brett Hundley in the school record books Saturday, climbing to the No. 1 ranking in UCLA history with 76 career passing touchdowns.

With the 2022 season officially at its midpoint, Thompson-Robinson is well within striking distance of several other UCLA all-time career records, including total touchdowns, total yards and completions.

Thompson-Robinson has passed for 1,510 yards, 15 touchdowns and just two interceptions on 74.3% completion and a 180.6 passer rating through six games this season. He has also rushed for 231 yards and four touchdowns on 5.5 yards per carry.

Now boasting four Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week honors in his career, Thompson-Robinson remains one of the featured members of the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year Watch List.

In each of the past two seasons, Thompson-Robinson was named to the All-Pac-12 Second Team by year’s end. With two Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week honors under his belt – more than anyone else halfway through the season – he is a front-runner to be named to the All-Pac-12 First Team, and is potentially the favorite to win the conference's Offensive Player of the Year award.

This marks the fourth time UCLA has had a player win an individual weekly honor this season. Kicker/punter Nicholas Barr-Mira took home Pac-12 Special Teams Player of the Week following the 32-31 win over South Alabama on Sept. 17, while Latu won Pac-13 Defensive Player of the Week for his three-sack outing against Colorado on Sept. 24.
