UCLA Football: Chip Kelly Breaks Down Bowl Game and Sofi Stadium

Chip Kelly and the UCLA Bruins may not have made their trek to the College Football Playoffs, but they will get one final team to play at home in front of fans. The Bruins and Boise State are set to meet for the LA Bowl this Saturday, which will take place at Sofi Stadium.

Kelly understands how important it is for his team to play one more time in front of LA fans, especially since they are doing so at Sofi Stadium, which is home to both the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers. Kelly spoke about the game and stadium in a new video.

Kelly revealed what it was like to step on the field at Sofi Stadium, and how he was awestruck by its size.

"This place is spectacular," Kelly said, as he took in the field. Kelly also revealed how big of a Rams fan he is and his appreciation for head coach Sean McVay.

Despite preaching Sofi for its spectacular view, he also revealed how important it is for the Bruins to be playing in the LA Bowl. Kelly stated, "Our guys are so fired up they get a chance to play in this game."

Kelly also stated that facing Boise State will be a "great challenge," as the team went on a four-game winning streak to end their 2023 season.

The hope is the Bruins can get a big win in front of the home crowd. The game is sure to be exciting, as former NFL player and TV personality Rob Gronkowski is set to host the showdown.

Saturday afternoon, with kick-off scheduled for 4:30 p.m. PT.
