Lebron, Bronny James, Luka Doncic Injury Report: Los Angeles Lakers vs. Denver Nuggets

The Los Angeles Lakers are set to face the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday Night. Both teams have injuries across the roster, creating a significant injury report heading into the matchup. This is a crucial game, as both teams are looking to gain ground in the competitive Westen Conference standings.
The Los Angeles Lakers’ injury report features five players. Guard Luka Doncic is probable which is good news for the Lakers. Center Trey Jemison is the lone questionable player. Three Lakers players are out including forwards LeBron James, Maxi Kleber, and Rui Hachimura.
With the injuries on the Lakers, former USC Trojans guard Bronny James has been earning more minutes in the NBA. James began the season splitting time between the NBA and the G League but has had to spend much time with the Los Angeles Lakers. James has not played with the South Bay Lakers since December.
The Lakers are 42-25 making a serious run, but the injuries have slowed them down. The Nuggets are two wins ahead of the Lakers, 44-25, making this a crucial game for Los Angeles.
Given the injuries to the Lakers, it can be expected that James will once again earn minutes for Los Angeles. The last time the two teams faced was on March 14, resulting in a Nuggets win 131-126.
James earned a significant amount of minutes, 16, when the Lakers and Nuggets last played. With the earned playing time, James finished the game with five points, two rebounds, and one steal. James also scored a big three-point shot over Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic.

James played just three minutes when the Lakers faced the San Antonio Spurs, but had a big three-point shot. Though James is not on the court often, he is showing signs that he is developing as a player. James has scored at least one bucket in his last six games. As the Lakers continue to deal with injuries, James could continue to earn more consistent playing time, even if it is not a lot.
If James does earn more minutes than usual on the court, he will be prepared. After the previous matchup against the Nuggets, James spoke to the media about how he feels he has been developing, and his preparedness for when he plays.
"I'm always trying to stay ready as much as I can whether I'm playing in the G or up here with the big guys," James said. "I'm always ready to, you know, go at it and give my full effort."
"I worked all summer before the draft, and I'm still working right now so I can see the improvement, and it's been going well for me."
This season, James is averaging 4.7 minutes, 0.5 rebounds, 0.4 assists, and 1.7 points per game. Despite just 4.7 minutes per game, he has been earning more playing time in recent weeks.
On the Denver Nuggets, Jokic is questionable with an elbow injury. Also questionable for Denver are guards Jamal Murray, and Christian Braun. Forward Aaron Gordon is probable while guard Julian Strawther and center DaRon Homes are both out.
The Los Angeles Lakers will face the Denver Nuggets at 7 p.m. PT at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California.
