Taking a Look at Every MLB Team's 2024 Opening Day Starting Pitcher
The return of regular season baseball is just over the horizon, forcing teams across the league to make critical decisions on the mound.
Now, with Opening Day just nine days out, every MLB team has pegged its top starting pitcher for the beginning of the year.
Many teams had already made things official in recent weeks, from the New York Mets and Detroit Tigers to the Chicago White Sox and Seattle Mariners. All 30 teams have now reached that stage, though, making the start of the season feel that much closer.
All teams will play on March 28, including the San Diego Padres and Los Angeles Dodgers, who open their regular season Wednesday in South Korea.
Here are the expected pitching matchups for Opening Day:
