Look: Auburn Tigers signee Walker White dicusses leaving Arkansas

Several of White's family members were Razorbacks, but he chose Auburn

LITTLE ROCK - Little Rock Christian four-star quarterback Walker White made it official Wednesday morning. He sighed with Auburn University in front of a large group of family and friends on the LRCA campus at Warrior Arena.

It was no surprise as he committed to the Tigers last February.

White's signing has been a hot topic lately as statewide media has examined why University of Arkansas head coach Sam Pittman has missed out on some high-profile in-state prospects, which most recently included four-star receiver Courtney Crutchfield, who announced Tuesday he is signing with Missouri.

Earlier this year, four-star Bryant defensive end T.J. Lindsey, who transferred to IMG Academy for his senior year, announced he is headed to Auburn with White.

White, whose dad, David, played golf at UA and brother J..D. played football there for a time, discusses why he didn't go there, his decision to choose Auburn, how he will be developed with the Tigers and more.
