Here are the candidates for the Scorebook Live Southern California girls basketball player of the week for March 2-8 as nominated by fans, readers and Scorebook Live’s staff. Olivia Moran, King: Moran finished with 22 points and 20 rebounds for King in their 79-55 win over El Cajon Christian.

Sydney Gandy, Orange Academy: Gandy netted 27 points for Orange Academy in their 66-59 victory over Bonita Vista.

Imani Moore, Madison: Moore's 15 point, 15 rebound double-double helped Madison to a 46-37 win over San Diego High School.

Jane Nwaba, Palisades: Nwaba's 17 points led Palisades to a 54-42 win over Crean Lutheran.

Jayda Curry, Centennial: Curry scored 23 points and grabbed 4 boards in Centennial's matchup with Etiwanda.

Taylor Linzie, Bakersfield: Linzie's double-double of 15 points and 16 rebounds led the way for Bakersfield in their matchup against Mater Dei.

Aliyah Pollard, LACES: Pollard had 29 points and 11 rebounds for LACES in their win over Arvin.
