Here are the candidates for the Scorebook Live Southern California girls basketball player of the week for March 2-8 as nominated by fans, readers and Scorebook Live’s staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote at the bottom of the page. Players from the Southern, LA City and San Diego Sections are considered. Olivia Moran, King: Moran finished with 22 points and 20 rebounds for King in their 79-55 win over El Cajon Christian.

Sydney Gandy, Orange Academy: Gandy netted 27 points for Orange Academy in their 66-59 victory over Bonita Vista.

Imani Moore, Madison: Moore's 15 point, 15 rebound double-double helped Madison to a 46-37 win over San Diego High School.

Jane Nwaba, Palisades: Nwaba's 17 points led Palisades to a 54-42 win over Crean Lutheran.

Jayda Curry, Centennial: Curry scored 23 points and grabbed 4 boards in Centennial's matchup with Etiwanda.

Taylor Linzie, Bakersfield: Linzie's double-double of 15 points and 16 rebounds led the way for Bakersfield in their matchup against Mater Dei.

Aliyah Pollard, LACES: Pollard had 29 points and 11 rebounds for LACES in their win over Arvin.
