Tennessee, Arkansas, Texas among schools prioritizing 2025 Lincoln receiver Drey Garner: Look

MIRA MESA, CALIFORNIA– Backed up on the one-yard line in the final minute of the first half on Friday night, Lincoln junior receiver Drey Garner reeled in a pass along the right sideline. He then proceeded to break a tackle and sprinted across midfield on his way for a 99-yard touchdown.
Garner's touchdown gave Lincoln a 26-0 halftime lead on Western League rival Cathedral Catholic. The Hornets went on to beat the Dons 40-14, registering consecutive wins over Cathedral Catholic for the first time since 1989.
The Hornets had a comfortable lead for most of the night, lessening their need to utilize the passing game. Garner caught two passes for 106 yards and the long touchdown.
After the game, the talented pass catcher discussed his transition to Lincoln in the offseason, his team's hot start as well as what teams are standing out in his recruitment.
