Kendall Jackson, 3-star defensive end, commits to Florida over Arkansas and Kentucky
GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA- They say home is where the heart is and for Buchholz defensive end Kendall Jackson, he decided the sediment is how he wanted to choose where he plays on the next level.
On Wednesday afternoon, Jackson let it be known he won’t have to move at all when it comes to his playing destination.
The Buchholz (Florida) senior defensive end announced Wednesday afternoon via Twitter that he is committing to the University of Florida. The defensive end is a 3-star rated Class of 2024 prospect according to 247Sports and chose the Gators over SEC schools Arkansas and Kentucky, respectively.
The 6-foot-4, 250-pound edge rusher has had a couple of solid seasons with the Bobcats, especially when it comes to getting to the quarterback. Jackson has totaled 19.5 sacks in the last two seasons at Buchholz.
Before deciding on the Gators, Jackson also held offers from Campbell, Florida Atlantic, Georgia Tech, Iowa State, Kansas, Louisville, Maryland, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Texas, Troy, UCF and USF.
