Jordan Seaton officially signs with Colorado

A recruitment engulfed in mystery and filled with rumors of a flip ends where it started, with Coach Prime and Colorado

After a recruitment filled with uncertainty, IMG Academy’s Jordan Seaton, a 5-Star and the No. 1-rated offensive tackle in the nation, has officially signed his National Letter of Intent and fulfilled his earlier commitment to join Coach Prime (aka Deion Sanders) in Colorado.

A native of Washington, D.C., Seaton made a surprise commitment to Colorado earlier this month, despite not having the Buffaloes on his list of six finalists. Prior to that, many believed he was leaning towards Ohio State, over other leading contenders Tennessee and Oregon.

Jordan Seaton to Colorado in doubt? Nation's No. 1 offensive tackle indicates he's torn

When he did not sign on Early National Signing Day, on Wednesday, rumors began circulating that he was flipping to the University of Maryland, in his hometown, or possibly to one of his other finalists, Florida and Tennessee.

Appearing on an Instagram Live, late Wednesday night, with Hayes Fawcett of On3.com, Seaton seemed very torn about a number of options, but at one point said, "I'm still a Buff." He then went on to make other statements that could lead one to believe he was leaning towards several other schools.

On Friday evening, however, he made it official with a simple tweet and a buffalo emoji.
