Florida high school football: Venice announces 2024 schedule

Football schedules for the 2024 season are starting to be announced all across the Sunshine State and SBLive Sports Florida will share these as we see them.

Recently, the Venice Indians announced the following slate of games for 2024. The Indians will play 10 games, including two home contests against nationally-ranked Cocoa and IMG Academy national. 

Among other teams on the schedule are Bishop Verot, Clearwater Central Catholic, Miami Northwestern and Tampa Bay Tech. 

Below is the Indians' 2024 regular season schedule, with official game times to be announced.

Aug. 16: vs. Gadsden County (preseason)

Aug. 23: vs. Tampa Bay Tech 

Aug. 30: vs. Miami Northwestern 

Sep. 6: vs. Bishop Verot 

Sep. 13: at Port Charlotte 

Sep. 20: vs. Cocoa 

Sep. 27: at Lehigh 

Oct. 4: vs. IMG Academy 

Oct. 11: at Sarasota Riverview 

Oct. 18: at Clearwater Central Catholic 

Oct. 25: vs. Sarasota
