Congratulations to last week's winner: Eddie Enright of Mount Carmel (Illinois).

Here are this week's nominations:

150 – Kody Routledge (Edmond North, Oklahoma) – Routledge, who is ranked 12th in the nation at 150, turned Ironman into a revenge tour. Routledge’s quarter-final opponent, No. 8 Claudio Torres (Lake Highland Prep, Florida), defeated him at Fargo and the Elite 8 Freestyle Duals. Routledge decked Torres in the third period to move onto the semis where he encountered No. 3 Kollin Rath (Bethlehem Catholic, Pennsylvania), who handed him a 4-2 loss in the Super 32 finals. It took overtime but Routledge turned the tables on Rath with a 3-2 win. Routledge finished second to Wyoming Seminary’s No. 6 Vince Bouzakis.

157 – Landyn Sommer (Stillwater, Oklahoma) – Sommer’s weight was one of the more wide-open ones at Ironman since no ranked wrestlers higher than No. 10 Aaron Stewart (Warren Township, Illinois) were slated to compete. Therefore, Stewart was considered the favorite based on rankings. They both reached the finals where Sommer (No. 15) authored a mild upset of Stewart, 3-2.

157 – Asher Cunningham (State College, Pennsylvania) – Cunningham walked into the Walsh Jesuit gym at the Ironman as the last man listed in the 157lb Honorable Mention section. The junior’s performance will have him shooting up the ranks after a third-place finish that included pins over No. 13 Anthony Evanitsky (Wyoming Seminary), 4:52, and No. 17 Eddie Enright (Mt. Carmel, Illinois), 3:11, as well a 5-0 win over No. 11 Paul Ognissanti (Blair Academy, New Jersey).

165 – Angelo Ferrari (Melissa, Texas) – Ferrari, who is ranked No. 1 in the nation, won his third consecutive Ironman championship, in perhaps the most difficult weight of the tournament. Ferrari won an Ultimate Tiebreaker bout in the finals over No. 2 Joe Sealey (Wyoming Seminary), who is a former World Champion. In the semis, Ferrari beat No. 6 Ethan Birden (Dublin Coffman, Ohio), 5-1. The bracket also contained No. 3 William Henckel (Blair Academy) and no. 4 LaDarion Lockett (Stillwater), who won a world title this summer.

175 – Gage Wright (Parkersburg South, West Virginia) – Wright (No. 5) captured the Ironman crown by pinning No. 11 Colin Kelly (Mt. Carmel, Illinois) in the third period of their finals match, 4:52. But to reach that match, Wright won an overtime battle with No. 1 Tyler Eise (Ponderosa, Colorado), 3-2.

175 – Colin Kelly (Mt. Carmel, Illinois) – Kelly (No. 11) finds himself nominated for the second week in a row. Kelly replicated his win over No. 14 Peyton Westpfahl (Liberty, Missouri) from the Dan Gable Donnybrook, and authored an even more impressive win at Ironman with a 3-1 overtime victory against No. 4 Adam Waters (Faith Christian Academy, Pennsylvania).

175- Eddie Neitenbach (Buckeye, Ohio) – Neitenbach, an honorable mention wrestler, blew expectations out of the water with a third-place finish that saw him take out No. 1 Tyler Eise (Ponderosa) in the consolation finals, 5-3, in overtime. After dropping to the consolation bracket, Neitenbach went on a tear that saw him defeat fellow HM grappler, Peter Snyder (Blair Academy), No. 17 Dom Federici (Wyoming Seminary), No. 24 Elijah Penton (Winter Springs, Florida), and No. 14 Peyton Westpfahl (Liberty).

190 – Cade Ziola (Skutt Catholic, Nebraska) – No. 11 Ziola beat No. 7 Jarrel Miller (St. Edward, Ohio), who was a returning Ironman runner-up, to reach the finals where he planted No. 25 Jake Dailey (Wyoming Seminary) in the third period, 4:44.

190 – Jake Dailey (Wyoming Seminary) – Dailey moved up to 190 to fill a hole in the Seminary lineup but has recently been as light as 157 (Super 32). So, a No. 25 ranking at 190 and the 12th seed seemed fair for Dailey. Dailey reached the finals after upsetting the top seed, No. 8 Nate Taylor (Green Farms Academy, Connecticut), 3-2.
