WWE WrestleMania 40 Saturday Live Stream Results: The Rock & Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins

It's time for WrestleMania 40 Saturday.

MMA Knockout is at Lincoln Financial Field for "The Greatest Spectacle in Sports Entertainment." Night 1 of WrestleMania XL will feature the huge tag team match with The Rock and Roman Reigns taking on Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. We'll also get to see "The Man" Becky Lynch challenge Rhea Ripley for the Women's World Championship.

Plus, GUNTHER will defend the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Sami Zayn. There are plenty of other matches to look forward to as well.

There will be a Six-Pack Ladder Match for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship featuring The Judgment Day, The Awesome Truth, DIY, The New Day, New Catch Republic, and A-Town Down Under. Rey Mysterio and Andrade will team to take on Santos Escobar and Dominik Mysterio.

Brothers collide as Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso go one-on-one, and Jade Cargill makes her WrestleMania debut when she teams with Bianca Belair and Naomi to do battle against Dakota Kai and The Kabuki Warriors of Damage CTRL.

WWE WrestleMania 40 Results (Saturday, April 6, 2024)

Paul "Triple H" Levesque welcomed fans to WrestleMania.

Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Becky Lynch - for the Women's World Championship

Michael Cole mentioned on commentary that Becky was battling strep throat. Becky hit a missile dropkick from the top rope. Rhea went for an electric chair drop on the apron, but Becky reversed. Lynch pulled down Rhea from the turnbuckle with an arm drag.

Becky used the ropes for leverage to connect with a tornado DDT. Becky went for a crossbody, but was slammed down to the mat. She then ate a knee from Ripley. Lynch went for an armbar, but Ripley powerbombed her three times to shake her off.

Rhea's arm was rammed into the post. Becky went for a top rope leg drop, but Rhea countered into the Prison Trap submission. Becky countered Riptide into the Manhandle Slam for a near fall. Eventually, Rhea was able to counter into a Riptide, but couldn't score the three.

Becky hit a superplex into Disarm-Her. Ripley powered out with an electric chair position over the top rope and on the outside. Ripley hit the Frog Splash for a near fall. Ripley avoided a top rope Manhandle Slam. She hit Riptide on Becky on both the turnbuckle and the mat for the win.

Winner and STILL Women's World Champion: Rhea Ripley

Six-Pack Ladder Match: The Judgment Day (c) vs. The Awesome Truth vs. New Catch Republic vs. A-Town Down Under vs. The New Day - for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship

Austin Theory and Grayson Waller were the first team to try to climb the ladder, but they were cut off. Damian Priest laid out Tommaso Cimapa with a ladder. Bate picked up Balor, who was holding a ladder. and he got him in an airplane spin.

Bate went up the ladder, but Priest threw Dunne into the ladder, which knocked Bate down. R-Truth was looking for a tag from The Miz. Truth was tagged in and he laid waste to Priest and Balor. He landed the AA on Balor onto a ladder and scored a three-count ... except it was unofficial of course.

Gargano hit a superkick on Priest, while Ciampa hit his own version of the Pedigree on Balor. Waller and Theory knocked everyone off the ladder and won the SmackDown Tag Team Titles.

New SmackDown Tag Team Champions: A-Town Down Under

Waller got tossed to the outside onto a ladder by New Catch Republic. DIY pulled out two tables, and Truth grabbed a table of his own. With Ciampa on a ladder, Woods hit his Limit Break Elbow. The New Day climbed up the ladder and Kofi dove on most of his opponents. Theory snuck in and threw Woods out of the ring.

New Catch Republic landed Burning-Hammer on Theory. Gargano landed a DDT on Dunne onto a table on the outside. Ciampa took out Bate and himself with an Air Raid Crash off the ladder.

R-Truth was alone in the ring, and he climbed the ladder. JD McDonagh cut Truth off. JD was on the ladder and urged Balor to climb up, but The New Day intervened. McDonagh was thrown off the ladder onto a table.

Priest climbed up, but Miz met him there. He hit South of Heaven to push Miz off. He threw the ladder out of the ring because it was broken. Priest grabbed a new ladder, but Truth threw him off and landed an AA on him to the outside.

Truth then climbed up the ladder and grabbed the Raw tag titles.

New Raw Tag Team Champions: The Awesome Truth

Rey Mysterio & Andrade vs. Dominik Mysterio and Santos Escobar

Andrade chopped Dom and knocked Santos off the apron. Dom ate Andrade's signature elbow. Mysterio climbed on Andrade and the two landed a crossbody on the outside. Rey grabbed a belt to try to whip Dom, but he was countered.

Santos tried to take Rey's mask off. He got his opponent in a tree of woe and kicked in right in the ribs. Rey hit a sunset flip on Santos. Andrade went for a moonsault, Dom rolled out of the way, but Andrade landed on his feet and settled for a standing moonsault.

With the referee distracted, Berto held onto Rey's leg when he went up the top turnbuckle. Santos landed a hurricanrana. Elektra Lopez was on the apron, but Zelina Vega knocked her off and landed a moonsault. The rest of the LWO and Legado Del Fantasma started brawling.

Men in Rey Mysterio masks took out Dom. Rey hit the 619 and a splash on Santos for the win.

Winners: Rey Mysterio & Andrade

The men in the masks were Philadelphia Eagles legends Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson.

Jey Uso vs. Jimmy Uso

Before the match began, Lil Wayne performed "A Milli." Jey Uso then made his way out with "Weezy."

Jey and Jimmy brawled outside before the bell rang. Jey landed a suicide dive. Jey hit a crossbody for a two-count. Jimmy connected with two running hip attacks. Jey eventually nailed his brother with a superkick.

Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso traded superkicks. Jey messaged Jimmy and landed another big kick to the head. Jimmy asked for forgiveness, and Jey hesitated. Jimmy said he was wrong for everything and he was sorry. He offered his hand, but Jimmy superkicked him and splashed him, but Jey kicked out.

Jimmy ran into a Spear, and Jey climbed up the turnbuckle and landed his own Splash for the win.

Winner: Jey Uso

Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair, & Naomi vs. Dakota Kai, Asuka, & Kairi Sane

Belair did her signature vertical suplex and rammed into The Kabuki Warriors. He landed a gutbuster on Dakota. She lifted Kairi and slammed her onto Asuka and Dakota. Bianca went to tag Jade, but Dakota pulled her hair.

Jade was tagged in, and she cleaned house, chokeslamming Asuka, and catching Kairi and giving her a backbreaker. She delivered a back body drop to Dakota followed by a Stinger Splash in the corner and a driver. Asuka misted Kairi by accident. Bianca whipped Asuka with her hair and hit KOD. Cargill hit a stalling Jaded on Kai for the win.

Winners: Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair, and Naomi

GUNTHER (c) vs. Sami Zayn - for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

Before the match began, Zayn met with his family. He then ran into Chad Gable, who said he's always had what it takes to defeat GUNTHER. Finally, Sami was fired up by his best friend Kevin Owens.

Zayn went for a springboard, but GUNTHER caught him for a German suplex. The first hard chop from the IC champion connected. Zayn hit GUNTHER with a clothesline. Zayn connected with two dragon suplexes, but he ran into a lariat.

GUNTHER tried to land a powerbomb, but Sami drove him back with chops and he hit a tornado DDT. Zayn went for the Helluva Kick, but GUNTHER caught him in a sleeper briefly. GUNTHER avoided a Blue Thunder Bomb and locked in the sleeper again, this time with both hooks in. Zayn got up so GUNTHER turned the sleeper into a German Suplex.

Zayn went for the Helluva Kick again, but he ate a missile dropkick. GUNTHER landed the powerbomb, but Zayn kicked out. GUNTHER landed his own Helluva Kick. He went for another, but Sami chased him and landed the actual Helluva Kick for a near fall.

Sami was taken out by a clothesline, and GUNTHER landed two powerbombs in a row, but Sami once again got the shoulder up. GUNTHER was stomping his opponent relentlessly. Sami got back up to his feet and was dropped by yet another lariat. GUNTHER continued barking at Sami's wife.

Once again, Sami took a powerbomb. The commentators were calling for the referee to stop the match. GUNTHER went up top for a splash and he hit it. He went to the top turnbuckle a second time and hit another splash.

Sami began to fire up to a stunned GUNTHER. Zayn hit the Helluva Kick on the IC titleholder and hit a brainbuster on GUNTHER right on the top turnbuckle. Another Helluva Kick from Sami, followed by another sealed the deal.

GUNTHER's legendary Intercontinental Championship reign is over.

Winner and NEW Intercontinental Champion: Sami Zayn

SmackDown GM Nick Aldis and Raw GM Adam Pearce were in the ring. They announced an attendance of 72,543.

The Rock & Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins

Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins got things started. After a brief exchange, Cody was tagged in. Eventually, The Rock was tagged in against Rollins. "The Final Boss" shoved Rollins to the mat, showing off his power.

The Rock put Rollins down with a clothesline. "The Great one" dared Cody to step inside the ring. Rollins tagged Rhodes in. Rollins and Cody double teamed the Rock. Eventually, the action spilled outside. The Rock threatened to fire the referee if he gives a 10-count for outside fighting. Cody suplexed Roman on the entrance ramp. The Rock spat in Rollins' face with water in the crowd.

With the referee distracted, Roman injured the leg of Seth. The Rock threw Rollins into the steel steps. Reigns went for the Superman Punch, but Seth countered with a neckbreaker. The Rock was tagged in and he prevented Seth from tagging Cody in. Rock hit a low blow on Seth.

Rollins landed a step-up enzuigiri on "The Final Boss." Rollins was looking for a tag, but Roman pulled Cody off the apron. The Rock locked in the Sharpshooter. Cody got in the ring and slapped The Rock in the face. Seth landed a superkick on Rock followed by The Stomp.

Cody and Roman were tagged in. A powerslam connected for "The American Nightmare." Cody cutter landed for a near fall. Roman countered Cross Rhodes. Cody went for the Disaster Kick, but Reigns nailed him with a Superman Punch. The nose of Reigns was busted.

Roman went for a Spear, but Cody countered with a sunset flip. Rollins hit a Splash on Reigns for a two-count after Cody hit an awkward Cody Cutter. Reigns reversed The Stomp with a Powerbomb. Rollins kicked Roman when "The Tribal Chief" went for a Spear. Rollins landed The Stomp, and Cody hit Cross Rhodes, but The Rock pulled the referee out of the ring.

Reigns hit a low blow on Cody followed by a Spear. The referee was dragged back in, but Cody kicked out. Roman locked in a guillotine choke on Cody, who was fading. The Rock grabbed Cody's lags to keep the guillotine locked in for Reigns, but Seth hit a Stomp on Roman.

The Rock grabbed a belt and went to Cody's mother. Cody kicked The Rock and grabbed the belt, but Cody ate a punch. Rhodes hit The Rock with a Bionic Elbow. Cody ran into a spinebuster. "The Final Boss" was hit with a Cody Cutter when he went for the People's Elbow.

Cody went for Cross Rhodes on The Rock, but Roman hit him with a Superman Punch. Roman accidentally Speared The Rock. Cody and Rollins hit stereo Pedigrees for a close two-count. Rollins dove on Roman on the outside. The Rock cleared the announce table and Rhodes on top of it. He went for a Rock Bottom on the table, but Rollins pulled Rock's leg, allowing Cody to hit the Rock Bottom instead.

Roman then Speared Rollins through the barricade. Cody caught Roman in two Cross Rhodes, but The Rock cracked him with the belt when he went for the third attempt. Roman hit the Spear on Cody. The Rock was tagged in and he hit Rock Bottom on Cody, followed by the People's Elbow for the three.

Winners: The Rock & Roman Reigns
