Fantasy football Week 11 stat projections

Another quarterback has to throw for six touchdowns this weekend, right? Get your fantasy football lineups ready for the playoff push with Week 11's fantasy stat projections.

It’s basically a guarantee that a quarterback will throw six touchdown passes this week.

After Ben Roethlisberger achieved that feat in Week 8 and again in Week 9, Aaron Rodgers picked up the mantle, carving up the Bears for six touchdowns in a 55-14 victory on Sunday Night Football. The question doesn’t appear to be if a quarterback will throw for six scores this week, but rather who will be the one to do so.

Week 11 Waiver Wire | Fact or Fiction | Sell high on these players

Rodgers and Peyton Manning have excellent matchups with the Eagles and Rams, respectively. Meanwhile, Tom Brady and Andrew Luck meet on Sunday night, and that crucial AFC matchup could very well come down to which quarterback has a better game. Six touchdowns would likely do the trick.

Find out which of those four quarterbacks we handicap as this week’s best and much more in the Week 11 stat projections.

Buffalo Bills at Miami Dolphins

QB: Kyle Orton - 237 pass yards, 1 TD, 1 INT
RB: Fred Jackson - 58 rush yards, 3 receptions, 21 rec yards
RB: Bryce Brown - 23 rush yards
RB: Anthony Dixon - 14 rush yards
WR: Sammy Watkins - 6 receptions, 92 rec yards, 1 TD
WR: Robert Woods - 5 receptions, 57 rec yards
TE: Scott Chandler - 3 receptions, 39 rec yards
K: Dan Carpenter - 1 PAT, 2 FG
DST: Bills - 3 sacks, 16 points allowed

QB: Ryan Tannehill - 262 pass yards, 1 TD, 24 rush yards
RB: Lamar Miller - 57 rush yards, 4 receptions, 26 rec yards
WR: Mike Wallace - 4 receptions, 83 rec yards, 1 TD
WR: Jarvis Landry - 6 receptions, 71 rec yards
WR: Brian Hartline - 3 receptions, 28 rec yards
TE: Charles Clay - 5 receptions, 53 rec yards
K: Caleb Sturgis - 1 PAT, 3 FG
DST: Dolphins - 4 sacks, 1 INT, 1 FR, 13 points allowed

Expect this to be a low-scoring, semi-ugly affair. This game features good defenses and low-impact offenses playing on a short week. It could also be the week that Jackson re-asserts himself in the Buffalo backfield.

BURKE: Brent Grimes' highlight-reel pick among Week 10's big winners

Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears

QB: Teddy Bridgewater - 247 pass yards, 1 TD, 1 INT, 13 rush yards
RB: Jerick McKinnon - 83 rush yards, 4 receptions, 37 rec yards
RB: Matt Asiata - 14 rush yards, 1 TD
WR: Greg Jennings - 6 receptions, 70 rec yards
WR: Cordarrelle Patterson - 4 receptions, 52 rec yards
TE: Kyle Rudolph - 6 receptions, 62 rec yards, 1 TD
K: Blair Walsh - 2 PAT, 2 FG
DST: Vikings - 3 sacks, 1 INT, 30 points allowed

QB: Jay Cutler - 281 pass yards, 2 TD, 1 INT
RB: Matt Forte - 101 rush yards, 1 TD, 4 receptions, 32 rec yards
WR: Brandon Marshall - 6 receptions, 83 rec yards, 1 TD
WR: Alshon Jeffery - 7 receptions, 100 rec yards, 1 TD
TE: Martellus Bennett - 4 receptions, 56 rec yards
K: Robbie Gould - 3 PAT, 3 FG
DST: Bears - 2 sacks, 1 INT, 1 FR, 20 points allowed

It’s simply embarrassing that a team with as much offensive talent as Chicago is having as bad a season as it is. That said, fantasy owners should still be starting all of the Bears’ skill players. The potential return of Kyle Rudolph could galvanize the Minnesota offense.

BURKE: Sour Rankings: Jay Cutler falls apart at Lambeau Field

Houston Texans at Cleveland Browns

QB: Ryan Mallett - 240 pass yards, 1 TD, 1 INT
RB: Arian Foster - 124 rush yards, 1 TD, 3 receptions, 26 rec yards
RB: Alfred Blue - 32 rush yards, 2 receptions, 13 rec yards
WR: Andre Johnson - 7 receptions, 91 rec yards, 1 TD
WR: DeAndre Hopkins - 5 receptions, 78 rec yards
TE: Garrett Graham - 3 receptions, 22 rec yards
K: Randy Bullock - 2 PAT, 1 FG
DST: Texans - 3 sacks, 1 INT, 20 points allowed

QB: Brian Hoyer - 258 pass yards, 1 TD, 1 INT
RB: Terrance West - 65 rush yards, 1 TD, 2 receptions, 12 rec yards
RB: Ben Tate - 31 rush yards
RB: Isaiah Crowell - 18 rush yards
WR: Andrew Hawkins - 5 receptions, 79 rec yards, 1 TD
WR: Taylor Gabriel - 4 receptions, 86 rec yards
WR: Miles Austin - 2 receptions, 33 rec yards
TE: Gary Barnidge - 2 receptions, 28 rec yards
K: Billy Cundiff - 2 PAT, 2 FG
DST: Browns - 2 sacks, 1 INT, 1 FR, 17 points allowed

Foster should be good to go after suffering a groin injury two weeks ago, and they’ll need him in Mallett’s first career start. On the other side, the Browns play their last game without Josh Gordon, but they could again be missing Hawkins and Cameron.

Seattle Seahawks at Kansas City Chiefs

QB: Russell Wilson - 194 pass yards, 1 INT, 54 rush yards
RB: Marshawn Lynch - 89 rush yards, 1 TD, 2 receptions, 11 rec yards
WR: Doug Baldwin - 4 receptions, 55 rec yards
WR: Jermaine Kearse - 4 receptions, 45 rec yards
WR: Paul Richardson - 2 receptions, 24 rec yards
TE: Cooper Helfert - 3 receptions, 41 rec yards
TE: Luke Willson - 0 receptions
K: Steven Hauschka - 1 PAT, 3 FG
DST: Seahawks - 4 sacks, 2 INT, 23 points allowed

QB: Alex Smith - 232 pass yards, 2 INT, 14 rush yards
RB: Jamaal Charles - 83 rush yards, 2 TD, 4 receptions, 33 rec yards
RB: Knile Davis - 17 rush yards
WR: Dwayne Bowe - 6 receptions, 88 rec yards
WR: A.J. Jenkins - 2 receptions, 23 rec yards
TE: Travis Kelce - 5 receptions, 63 rec yards
TE: Anthony Fasano - 2 receptions, 18 rec yards
K: Cairo Santos - 2 PAT, 3 FG
DST: Chiefs - 2 sacks, 1 INT, 2 FR, 16 points allowed

Outside of the running backs and Kelce, there isn’t anyone to get excited about in this game from a fantasy standpoint. Given what both of these teams want to do, this game could be over in about two hours.

BEDARD: After squeaking past the Bills, are the Chiefs legit contenders?

Atlanta Falcons at Carolina Panthers

QB: Matt Ryan - 293 pass yards, 3 TD
RB: Steven Jackson - 77 rush yards, 2 receptions, 14 rec yards
RB: Jacquizz Rodgers - 14 rush yards
RB: Devonta Freeman - 18 rush yards, 2 receptions, 10 rec yards
RB: Antone Smith - 5 rush yards
WR: Julio Jones - 8 receptions, 124 rec yards, 2 TD
WR: Roddy White - 6 receptions, 90 rec yards, 1 TD
WR: Harry Douglas - 3 receptions, 31 rec yards
WR: Devin Hester - 1 reception, 12 rec yards
TE: Levine Toilolo - 1 reception, 10 rec yards
K: Matt Bryant - 3 PAT, 2 FG
DST: Falcons - 3 sacks, 1 INT, 2 FR, 21 points allowed

QB: Cam Newton - 265 pass yards, 2 TD, 1 INT, 15 rush yards
RB: Jonathan Stewart - 61 rush yards, 1 TD
RB: DeAngelo Williams - 24 rush yards, 4 receptions, 27 rec yards
WR: Kelvin Benjamin - 5 receptions, 84 rec yards, 1 TD
WR: Jerricho Cotchery - 3 receptions, 40 rec yards
WR: Jason Avant - 3 receptions, 28 rec yards
TE: Greg Olsen - 6 receptions, 74 rec yards, 1 TD
K: Graham Gano - 3 PAT
DST: Panthers - 2 sacks, 27 points allowed

It seems a little early to call this a de facto elimination game, but I’d wager that the loser of this game is not in the playoffs. Newton is once again dealing with a leg injury, while this matchup sets up nicely for Ryan and the Falcons offense. That hasn’t meant much in recent weeks, but expect them to look like the group we thought they’d be during the preseason.

BANKS: Sanchez looks as good as ever in Eagles' rout of Panthers

Cincinnati Bengals at New Orleans Saints

QB: Andy Dalton - 277 pass yards, 2 TD, 1 INT
RB: Giovani Bernard - 63 rush yards, 3 receptions, 30 rec yards
WR: Jeremy Hill - 45 rush yards, 1 TD, 2 receptions, 11 rec yards
WR: A.J. Green - 7 receptions, 110 rec yards, 1 TD
WR: Mohamed Sanu - 5 receptions, 80 rec yards, 1 TD
WR: Brandon Tate - 2 receptions, 22 rec yards
TE: Jermaine Gresham - 2 receptions, 19 rec yards
K: Mike Nugent - 3 PAT, 2 FG
DST: Bengals - 2 sacks, 31 points allowed

QB: Drew Brees - 325 pass yards, 3 TD
RB: Mark Ingram - 105 rush yards, 1 TD, 2 receptions, 12 rec yards
RB: Travaris Cadet - 18 rush yards, 3 receptions, 24 rec yards
WR: Brandin Cooks - 7 receptions, 89 rec yards, 1 TD
WR: Marques Colston - 5 receptions, 60 rec
WR: Kenny Stills - 3 receptions, 38 rec yards
TE: Jimmy Graham - 7 receptions, 95 rec yards, 2 TD
K: Shayne Graham - 4 PAT, 1 FG
DST: Saints - 3 sacks, 1 INT, 1 FR, 27 points allowed

The good news for Dalton is that he can’t possibly play worse on Sunday than he did against the Browns last week. Green played 88 percent of the team’s snaps a week ago and appears to be 100 percent. Chances are the Bengals welcome back Bernard, as well. On the other side, this has the feel of a rebound game for Brees.

BANKS: How Ray Rice can restore his name, if not his career

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Washington Redskins

QB: Josh McCown - 279 pass yards, 2 TD, 2 INT
RB: Charles Sims - 47 rush yards, 3 receptions, 24 rec yards
RB: Bobby Rainey - 14 rush yards, 2 receptions, 10 rec yards
RB: Doug Martin - 28 rush yards
WR: Mike Evans - 6 receptions, 114 rec yards, 1 TD
WR: Vincent Jackson - 6 receptions, 91 rec yards, 1 TD
WR: Louis Murphy - 2 receptions, 18 rec yards
TE: Austin Seferian-Jenkins - 2 receptions, 21 rec yards
K: Patrick Murray - 2 PAT
DST: Buccaneers - 2 sacks, 27 points allowed

QB: Robert Griffin III - 306 pass yards, 2 TD, 22 rush yards
RB: Alfred Morris - 103 rush yards, 1 TD, 1 reception, 7 rec yards
RB: Roy Helu - 26 rush yards, 3 receptions, 17 rec yards
WR: DeSean Jackson - 7 receptions, 127 rec yards, 1 TD
WR: Pierre Garcon - 6 receptions, 88 rec yards, 1 TD
TE: Jordan Reed - 4 receptions, 42 rec yards
TE: Niles Paul - 2 receptions, 17 rec yards
K: Kai Forbath - 3 PAT, 2 FG
DST: Redskins - 4 sacks, 2 INT, 14 points allowed

Griffin played respectably in his first game back from a dislocated ankle. He’s had two weeks to rest it and prepare for a game against the terrible Tampa Bay defense. Get ready for rookie year Griffin to show up on Sunday. Evans has emerged as potentially the best of a very strong rookie class of receivers, regardless of who is playing quarterback for the Buccaneers.

KING: Behind the scenes at the NFL's instant replay command center

Denver Broncos at St. Louis Rams

QB: Peyton Manning - 340 pass yards, 4 TD
RB: C.J. Anderson - 74 rush yards, 1 TD, 3 receptions, 26 rec yards
RB: Montee Ball - 45 rush yards, 2 receptions, 13 rec yards
WR: Juwan Thompson - 12 rush yards
WR: Demaryius Thomas - 7 receptions, 115 rec yards, 2 TD
WR: Emmanuel Sanders - 5 receptions, 73 rec yards, 1 TD
WR: Wes Welker - 4 receptions, 36 rec yards
TE: Julius Thomas - 5 receptions, 64 rec yards, 1 TD
K: Brandon McManus - 5 PAT, 1 FG
DST: Broncos - 5 sacks, 3 INT, 1 FR, 10 points allowed

QB: Austin Davis - 225 pass yards, 1 TD, 3 INT
RB: Tre Mason - 35 rush yards
RB: Benny Cunningham - 22 rush yards, 4 receptions, 41 rec yards
RB: Zac Stacy - zero touches
WR: Kenny Britt - 3 receptions, 48 rec yards
WR: Stedman Bailey - 2 receptions, 25 rec yards
WR: Tavon Austin - 3 receptions, 31 rec yards
TE: Jared Cook - 5 receptions, 57 rec yards, 1 TD
K: Greg Zuerlein - 1 PAT, 1 FG
DST: Rams - 1 sack, 38 points allowed

It hardly seems fair to feed the Raiders and Rams to the Manning machine in consecutive weeks, but that’s what we have here. This one should be rote for fantasy owners: Start all of your Broncos and none of your Rams.

San Francisco 49ers at New York Giants

QB: Colin Kaepernick - 254 pass yards, 1 TD, 1 INT, 39 rush yards
RB: Frank Gore - 87 rush yards, 1 TD
RB: Carlos Hyde - 56 rush yards
WR: Anquan Boldin - 8 receptions, 96 rec yards, 1 TD
WR: Michael Crabtree - 4 receptions, 53 rec yards
WR: Steve Johnson - 4 receptions, 47 rec yards
TE: Vernon Davis - 3 receptions, 28 rec yards
K: Phil Dawson - 2 PAT, 3 FG
DST: 49ers - 3 sacks, 2 INT, 24 points allowed

QB: Eli Manning - 279 pass yards, 3 TD, 2 INT
RB: Rashad Jennings - 70 rush yards, 2 receptions, 14 rec yards
RB: Andre Williams - 23 rush yards
WR: Odell Beckham Jr. - 6 receptions, 91 rec yards, 1 TD
WR: Rueben Randle - 4 receptions, 51 rec yards
WR: Preston Parker - 4 receptions, 66 rec yards, 1 TD
TE: Larry Donnell - 5 receptions, 50 rec yards
K: Josh Brown - 3 PAT, 1 FG
DST: Giants - 3 sacks, 1 INT, 1 FR, 23 points allowed

It looks as though the Giants will get Jennings back from a knee injury, and not a moment too soon. Williams has been completely ineffective in his stead. Boldin has at least 90 yards and a touchdown in three of his last four games.

KAPLAN: Giants guard Geoff Schwartz offers a glimpse of an NFL marriage

Oakland Raiders at San Diego Chargers

QB: Derek Carr - 244 pass yards, 1 TD, 1 INT
RB: Darren McFadden - 58 rush yards, 1 TD, 3 receptions, 21 rec yards
WR: Andre Holmes - 4 receptions, 66 rec yards
WR: James Jones - 5 receptions, 54 rec yards, 1 TD
WR: Denarius Moore - 2 receptions, 12 rec yards
TE: Mychal Rivera - 6 receptions, 79 rec yards
K: Sebastian Janikowski - 2 PAT, 1 FG
DST: Raiders - 2 sacks, 30 points allowed

QB: Philip Rivers - 284 pass yards, 2 TD
RB: Ryan Mathews - 92 rush yards, 1 TD, 2 receptions, 13 rec yards
RB: Branden Oliver - 21 rush yards, 4 receptions, 19 rec yards
WR: Keenan Allen - 5 receptions, 68 rec yards, 1 TD
WR: Malcom Floyd - 3 receptions, 59 rec yards
WR: Eddie Royal - 4 receptions, 44 rec yards
TE: Antonio Gates - 6 receptions, 77 rec yards, 1 TD
K: Nick Novak - 3 PAT, 3 FG
DST: Chargers - 3 sacks, 1 INT, 1 FR, 17 points allowed

A matchup with the Raiders at home after a bye is just what the doctor ordered for the Chargers. That they get Mathews back from a knee injury should only make matters better. Rivera has 21 catches for 185 yards and three touchdowns in his last three games, and is a low-end TE1 for the rest of the year.

2015 Mock Draft 1.0: Who will the Raiders take at No. 1?

Philadelphia Eagles at Green Bay Packers

QB: Mark Sanchez - 291 pass yards, 2 TD, 2 INT
RB: LeSean McCoy - 63 rush yards, 1 TD, 2 receptions, 14 rec yards
RB: Darren Sproles - 32 rush yards, 3 receptions, 24 rec yards
WR: Jeremy Maclin - 7 receptions, 107 rec yards, 1 TD
WR: Jordan Matthews - 5 receptions, 62 rec yards, 1 TD
WR: Riley Cooper - 4 receptions, 37 rec yards
TE: Zach Ertz - 2 receptions, 14 rec yards
TE: Brent Celek - 3 receptions, 31 rec yards
K: Cody Parkey - 3 PAT, 2 FG
DST: Eagles - 1 FR, 41 points allowed

QB: Aaron Rodgers - 325 pass yards, 4 TD
RB: Eddie Lacy - 82 rush yards, 1 TD, 3 receptions, 27 rec yards
WR: Jordy Nelson - 8 receptions, 128 rec yards, 2 TD
WR: Randall Cobb - 6 receptions, 113 rec yards, 2 TD
WR: Davante Adams - 4 receptions, 45 rec yards
TE: Andrew Quarless - 1 reception, 10 rec yards
K: Mason Crosby - 5 PAT, 2 FG
DST: Packers - 4 sacks, 2 INT, 1 FR, 27 points allowed

This could be the most exciting game from a fantasy standpoint this week, with two high-octane offenses going at it. It’s hard to fathom a Sanchez-led team keeping up with Rodgers, however. You’ll want to start all of the fantasy-relevant players in this game with confidence.

VRENTAS: The offseason meeting that turned Mark Sanchez around

Detroit Lions at Arizona Cardinals

QB: Matthew Stafford - 264 pass yards, 2 TD, 2 INT
RB: Joique Bell - 42 rush yards, 1 reception, 8 rec yards
RB: Theo Riddick - 14 rush yards, 3 receptions, 25 rec yards
WR: Calvin Johnson - 6 receptions, 100 rec yards, 1 TD
WR: Golden Tate - 5 receptions, 82 rec yards, 1 TD
WR: Corey Fuller - 3 receptions, 27 rec yards
TE: Brandon Pettigrew - 2 receptions, 17 rec yards
K: Matt Prater - 2 PAT, 2 FG
DST: Lions - 4 sacks, 2 INT, 19 points allowed

QB: Drew Stanton - 259 pass yards, 1 TD, 2 INT
RB: Andre Ellington - 77 rush yards, 3 receptions, 25 rec yards, 1 TD
WR: Larry Fitzgerald - 6 receptions, 81 rec yards
WR: Michael Floyd - 4 receptions, 77 rec yards
WR: John Brown - 4 receptions, 48 rec yards
TE: John Carlson - 2 receptions, 21 rec yards
K: Chandler Catanzaro - 1 PAT, 4 FG
DST: Cardinals - 4 sacks, 2 INT, 20 points allowed

There probably aren’t too many people out there who thought this game would be for pole position in the NFC at the beginning of the season. The Lions come into the game with an offense as close to 100 percent as you can expect at this point of the season, while the Cardinals just lost their starting quarterback. Expect that to be the difference.

MMQB: Count the injury-ridden Cardinals out at your own risk

New England Patriots at Indianapolis Colts

QB: Tom Brady - 307 pass yards, 3 TD, 1 INT
RB: Shane Vereen - 34 rush yards, 4 receptions, 32 rec yards
RB: Jonas Gray - 28 rush yards
WR: Brandon LaFell - 6 receptions, 86 rec yards
WR: Julian Edelman - 7 receptions, 74 rec yards, 1 TD
WR: Danny Amendola - 2 receptions, 13 rec yards
TE: Rob Gronkowski - 6 receptions, 94 rec yards, 2 TD
TE: Tim Wright - 1 reception, 7 rec yards
K: Stephen Gostkowski - 3 PAT, 3 FG
DST: Patriots - 3 sacks, 2 INT, 1 FR, 24 points allowed

QB: Andrew Luck - 314 pass yards, 2 TD, 2 INT
RB: Ahmad Bradshaw - 56 rush yards, 3 receptions, 26 rec yards, 1 TD
RB: Trent Richardson - 35 rush yards, 1 TD, 2 receptions, 12 rec yards
WR: T.Y. Hilton - 6 receptions, 104 rec yards
WR: Reggie Wayne - 5 receptions, 79 rec yards, 1 TD
WR: Hakeem Nicks - 2 receptions, 14 rec yards
WR: Dwayne Allen - 4 receptions, 37 rec yards
TE: Coby Fleener - 3 receptions, 29 rec yards
K: Adam Vinatieri - 3 PAT, 1 FG
DST: Colts - 2 sacks, 1 INT, 30 points allowed

The huge NFC clash between Detroit and Arizona should lead us right into one in the AFC between these two titans. Brady and Luck are right in the thick of the MVP discussion, along with Aaron Rodgers and Peyton Manning. Getting a win in this game could put either one of them ahead of the pack.

FARRAR: Beyond Patriots-Colts, the must-see games of the second half

Pittsburgh Steelers at Tennessee Titans

QB: Ben Roethlisberger - 283 pass yards, 2 TD
RB: Le’Veon Bell - 86 rush yards, 1 TD, 5 receptions, 52 rec yards
RB: LeGarrette Blount - 17 rush yards
WR: Antonio Brown - 7 receptions, 105 rec yards, 1 TD
WR: Martavis Bryant - 4 receptions, 65 rec yards
WR: Markus Wheaton - 3 receptions, 23 rec yards
TE: Heath Miller - 4 receptions, 37 rec yards, 1 TD
K: Shaun Suisham - 3 PAT, 1 FG
DST: Steelers - 2 sacks, 2 INT, 13 points allowed

QB: Zach Mettenberger - 244 pass yards, 1 TD, 2 INT
RB: Bishop Sankey - 55 rush yards, 2 receptions, 13 rec yards
WR: Kendall Wright - 6 receptions, 74 rec yards, 1 TD
WR: Justin Hunter - 2 receptions, 40 rec yards
WR: Nate Washington - 4 receptions, 33 rec yards
TE: Delanie Walker - 5 receptions, 61 rec yards
K: Ryan Succop - 1 PAT, 2 FG
DST: Titans - 2 sacks, 1 FR, 27 points allowed

Roethlisberger disappointed his owners who had come to expect six-touchdown games from him by falling flat against the hapless Jets pass defense last week. He should make up for that on Monday night. In fact, expect the entire Steelers offense to bounce back after an uncharacteristically sloppy game.
