2026 South Florida Recruit To Watch

Miami is recruiting more than just 2025 recruits

Miami's coaching staff is hard at work keeping the Sunshine State’s best at home for the class of 2025, and the same for the 26 class as well.

Rivals four-star safety Jaydin Broadnax holds offers from Louisville, Virginia Tech, Illinois, Kentucky, Syracuse, FIU, FAU, and Wisconsin to name a few of his offers. He is also garnering interest from Miami. The West Boca Raton (Fla.) High School standout spoke with us about his recruitment and visit plans.

"I currently talk to Syracuse, Louisville, Kentucky, and West Virginia the most."

With that being said, the 6-foot-3, 175-pound safety holds an interest in the Hurricanes.

"I speak with Miami's coaching staff every once in a while. I visited there in the past and it was a great time, so I am definitely taking another visit this spring to Miami," said Broadnax.

He plans to visit Florida State and Syracuse in April, but the Hurricanes are still very much a factor in his recruitment.

"When I visited Miami, the thing that stood out to me was the way the staff welcomed me and my family, how they were so invested in me while I was on campus making me feel like I'm a priority for them."

Broadnax said he has a timeline for when he wants to make his college decision.

"I'm planning on making my college decision next spring. I want to take a lot of visits this year, build relationships with coaching staff, and go from there."

Miami does have some work at this moment as two ACC Foes are standing out early in his recruitment.

"Louisville and Syracuse are the two schools standing out in my recruitment," said Broadnax.

There’s ample time for Mario Cristobal and his staff to make a run at Broadnax.
