Alabama Football Injury Updates before Tennessee Game

In this story:
TUSCALOOSA, Ala.— Alabama will likely be without a few key players for this week's top-25 rivalry matchup at Tennessee.
Starting wide receiver and team captain Ryan Coleman-Williams exited the second half of the Georgia loss with a head injury. Defensive lineman Terrance Green also left the game, re-aggravating an injury from the previous week. Starting center Racin Delgatty was taken out of the game in the fourth quater with a lower body injury.
Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer provided an update on all three during his Monday morning press conference.
Coleman-Williams has been working through a knee injury in addition to the head injury according to DeBoer, and he said there is a "pretty good chance" he is unavailable for the Tennessee game.
"Ryan's got a couple things going on," DeBoer said. "Worked through an injury with his knee that's been kind of going on, so we'll deal with that. Got the head issue as well. We're gonna address that, even the lower extremity there this week. Pretty good chance we wouldn't have him here this weekend. I think it'll probably go week-to-week after that."
With Coleman-Williams likely out, offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb "feels great" about the wide receiver depth behind him with guys like Lotzeir Brooks, Rico Scott and Derek Meadows.
Delgatty will continue to be evaluated and is day-to-day, but Grubb made it seem like Alabama is optimistic that Delgatty could be available by Saturday. He has started all six games at center for the Crimson Tide this season after transferring in from Cal Poly.
"He'll be pretty sore and kind of working through things and limited, for sure, early in the week," DeBoer said of Delgatty. "We'll certainly get some reps with other guys, in particular Mal Waldrep and Casey Poe, guys like that."
Green's injury has been limiting him in practice, and he will continue to be evaluated as well. With Green, Justin Hill and Desmond Umeozulu all out on Alabama's front seven, Devan Thompkins has been having to take a lot more reps along with Fatutoa Henry.
"I'm just going to say this about all the guys we've mentioned, Josh Ford last week, these guys go through things throughout the week that you don't see, and Ryan in particular has been doing that and leading the charge, not just with what he does to be out there on the football field for practice but the energy and trying to be an uplifting and uniting factor for not just the offense, but our football team," DeBoer said. "He was out there battling again on Saturday, giving everything he's got until the very end."
