2025 Defensive End Samuel Green Talks Cincinnati Bearcats Visit

Samuel Green broke it down.

TUNNEL HILL — One of the names to visit the Cincinnati Bearcats recently is Samuel Green. Green is an unranked 2025 defensive end from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, as he attends Collegiate Academy High School. He brings a 6-foot-3, 245-pound frame to the table, and had many good things to say about the Bearcats.

“It was a pretty good visit,” the edge rusher said to Bearcats Talk. “I’m glad that I got the chance to get back up there. I hadn’t been up there since 2022, so it was good to see the new staff and coach Stewart.”

Out of all the coaches, he talked about the one that he connected with the most and why.

"Coach (Walt) Stewart is who I talk to and connect with the most out of the staff," Green said. "He brought me into his office, and we talked about how I would fit into some schemes. I think if I really prove myself this year, I will have an offer from Cincinnati. I like the way he coaches his players and the energy he brings. (Cincinnati is) Close to home and reminds me of my hometown, Columbus.”
