Daniel Jeremiah On Ivan Pace Jr.: 'One Of The Best Off-Ball Blitzing Linebackers That I Have Seen'
CINCINNATI — NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah praised a few Bearcats during his pre-NFL Combine media call, including Senior Bowl standout Ivan Pace Jr.
The 2023 Senior Bowl MVP has a lot to offer NFL teams.
"Pace is one of the best off-ball blitzing linebackers that I have seen really," Jeremiah said. "It's like his superpower. He just has a really good feel. He can shoot gaps. He has a wide variety of moves as a rusher there. You know, the agility, the change of direction, the pure speed. You know, I'm curious about that once we get to the combine, but if you are looking for guys that can do one thing really well, he is an unbelievable blitzer off the ball. I have him more kind of in that fourth, fifth round range."
Pace is currently the 146th-ranked player on the consensus big board and the 10th-ranked linebacker. He holds a fifth-round NFL Draft projection as of this writing.
His testing numbers could vault him higher into that top group at the NFL combine next Thursday.
