Dontay Corleone Named to Walter Camp Award Watchlist

Corleone is primed for a big 2023 season.

CINCINNATI — UC defensive tackle Dontay Corleone joined another major preseason watchlist on Friday. The Walter Camp Player of the Year Award has Dontay Corleone on its radar as one of seven defensive players in the country to crack the list.

Overall, 45 players made the watchlist after USC quarterback Caleb Williams won the award last season.

Corleone is coming off a dominant season on UC's interior defensive line, finishing the season with 44 tackles, three sacks, and two forced fumbles as PFF's highest-graded defensive player in the country.

He's also been named to the Outland Trophy and Nagurski preseason watchlists.
