Ivan Pace Jr. First UC Player to Appear on Major 2023 Mock Draft

The senior is making himself a lot of future money in 2022.

CINCINNATI — It's hard not to notice what UC linebacker Ivan Pace Jr. has done this season. The human-howitzer is putting up All-America-worthy numbers and shooting up NFL draft boards in the process.

Pro Football Network has the senior getting selected in the third round of their latest 2023 mock draft at No. 81 to the Cincinnati Bengals.

"A hometown prospect who’s also a homing missile in the box, with 24 tackles for loss over the past two seasons," Ian Cummings wrote.

Pace is currently the only Bearcat on PFN's big board, ranking 61st. Overall, Pace is skyrocketing from a consensus ranking outside the top 500 to a current standing at No. 163.

Pace has amassed 30 solo tackles (10th nationally), 14 tackles for loss (first), six sacks (t-second), and two forced fumbles (t-sixth) this season.
