Lee Corso: 'I Don't Think Cincinnati Should be in, win or Lose'

Cincinnati is fourth in the College Football Playoff rankings.

CINCINNATI — There is seemingly nothing Cincinnati can do to convince ESPN's Lee Corso that they belong in the College Football Playoff.

The College GameDay analyst talked about the Bearcats' chances on Saturday.

"I don't think Cincinnati should be in [the College Football Playoff], win or lose," Corso said on College GameDay. "It's not because it's Cincinnati, it's because it's The Group of 5...The Group of 5 should be in a separate ranking and go to New Year's Day bowl game."

Corso won't stop banging the drum against Cincinnati as the program searches for its first shot at winning a National Championship.

UC battles No. 21 Houston on Saturday at 4 p.m. ET on ABC. The Cougars have won 11 consecutive games since losing to Texas Tech in their season opener.
