UC Football Moves up to No. 3 in Latest AP Poll
CINCINNATI — The Bearcats bested East Carolina 35-13 on Saturday to end the regular season 12-0 for the second time in school history. The performance moved them up one spot to No. 3 in the latest Associated Press college football poll.
Georgia came in at No. 1 for the eight consecutive week following a 45-0 win over Georgia Tech. No. 2 Michigan landed next after their 42-27 victory over No. 7 Ohio State. Alabama, Oklahoma State, Notre Dame, OSU, Ole Miss, Baylor, and Oregon rounded out the top ten.
Cincinnati has a great chance to secure a top-four ranking from the College Football Playoff committee if they beat (AP) No. 16 Houston in the American Athletic Conference Championship game on Saturday at 4 p.m. ET on ABC.
