Pinging The Portal: Football Offers Flow in During Transfer Portal Opening Day

Cincinnati is trying to turn things around after a 3-9 season.

CINCINNATI — The transfer portal offers continued this past weekend with things ramping up on Monday afternoon. UC football offered James Madison linebacker, Aiden Fisher.

The former Duke posted 91 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and one forced fumble in 2023. That worked out to a solid 72.4 PFF grade this season, including a 77.7 grade across 423 coverage snaps.

The 6-foot-1, 227-pound talent has two years of eligibility left.

Cincinnati also offered another linebacker in Vanderbilt's Ethan Barr.

The senior notched 54 tackles, one sack, and one forced fumble last season. He is a graduate transfer.

Barr struggled with a 55.3 PFF grade across 507 snaps in 2023.
