UC Football Opens as Seven-Point Underdogs Against Pitt
CINCINNATI — UC football travels to face Pittsburgh this coming weekend as a seven-point opening underdogs against the Panthers. Quarterback Phil Jurkovec guided Pitt to a 45-7 win over FCS Wofford as both teams entered 1-0.
Fanduel Sportsbook has Cincinnati as a seven-point underdog and +225 on the money line. It's the largest spread the program's faced since losing as 13-point underdogs to Alabama in the College Football Playoff.
Cincinnati was a 6.5-point road dog at Arkansas last season. ESPN's FPI matchup predictor has Pitt winning 59% of the time. Pitt has a 10.2 FPI rating to UC's 9.1.
