UC Tight End Josh Whyle Selected by Tennessee Titans in Fifth Round of 2023 NFL Draft

Whyle is the program's all-time leader in tight end touchdowns.

CINCINNATI — UC's latest tight end product has a home.

The Tennessee Titans selected Josh Whyle in the fifth round with the 147th pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Whyle is UC's all-time leader in tight end receiving touchdowns and realized his draft dreams after pushing them back a year due to an injury in the 2021 College Football Playoff.

It'll be interesting to see how quickly he can overcome the steep learning curve for young NFL tight ends in his new NFL home. He had 32 catches, for 326 yards, and 3 touchdowns last season.
