Lance Stephenson Signs With Indiana Pacers for Remainder of NBA Season

The former Bearcat has made splashes throughout a wild NBA campaign.

CINCINNATI — After a series of short contracts throughout a wild NBA season thus far, Lance Stephenson is sticking around for good through the end of this campaign. The Indian Pacers announced they signed Stephenson through the end of the season.

The veteran was well known for his time in Indianapolis after playing parts of six seasons there previously and already had a few signature moments in his return this season. The guard had a great start to his UC career and opted to leave for the NBA in 2010 after his freshman campaign.

Stephenson is averaging 9.4 points, 4.2 assists, and 2.9 rebounds in 17 games this season for Indiana. The stretch includes a record for most points off the bench in the first quarter of a game, and 16 points with a career-high 14 assists against the Utah Jazz.

The air guitar is staying in Downtown Indy until the end of this season.
