According to 247Sports, The Cincinnati native was the 160th-ranked recruit in the class of 2021 and the 10th-ranked running back. The former Ohio Mr. Football Award winner rushed for 324 yards on 79 carries while playing in 11 games as the second-string running back last year behind senior Ty Davis-Price.
Kiner held 20 offers before he committed to LSU, including Cincinnati, Florida, Michigan, Ohio State, Texas A&M, and USC. He could immediately step in and be the top running back on the 2022 team and have a clear path to dominating touches next season.
Two of Cincinnati's top-three 2022 running backs are seniors while starting candidate Ethan Wright could form a dynamic one-two punch with Kiner in 2022 and 2023.
